[Resolved]  Tata - SBI Credit Card — Complaint against tata-sbi credit card.

Hi, i am shilpi from delhi.
I was holding a tata-sbi credit card.
I am very very very frustated with services of this card.
First of all, anytime i drop my check in some drop box,it gets misplaced.
And after doing lots and lots of effort,when i managed to pay my due amout and confirming due balance as zero from customer support executive, tata sbi credit card. I again kept on getting messages for this card that my due balance was 4000.
After many days,i got a call from an executive named sapna (Her mobile no is [protected]), she told me that the whole settement would be done in rs 500.I told her that i had already paid the full amount.
She said, to close the account,i need to pay this amount. She assured me that this stupid card account would get closed once i do the said payment.
I was so much annoyed that i decided to pay rs 500,as my life had become a hell dur to this card.
I paid the said amount to an executive named vivek([protected]) and also surrendered my acrd to him.

Then after months of doing follow up with sapna, i did not get any positive response from her. She always told me that it has been processed, it would be done soon. I was so much fed up with her irresponsible response.

Then one day, i again got a call from tata-sbi cards, that my due amount is around rs 6000 and i have to pay it.

I then called sapna to know about what the hell is going on there.
When i asked her about the due balance, she told me that she has left the tata-sbi credit card company and she has joined a new company. Now she can not do anything.
She said she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.

I again called her after 2 days.When i asked her about what has happened.She said she has talked to her boss.
I was so much shocked,when i asked her whether she has the credit card no or my full name or my mobile no and she had none of them.
I gave her all these things and requested to do the needful.She said she would call me back.

After waiting for her call, i called her.She picked up my phone after a long time and when i asked her, she said now she is not bothered about all this. I asked her that she had left the company only some time back, whereas i had done the payment so many months ago. She was not interested to hear anything.
Now everytime i call her, she tells me the same thing that she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.
I asked her to give me the concerned person's contact no or mail id,so that i can take the initiative at my end. But she never gave me that.
I called at tata-sbi card toll free no([protected]) also, but no bosy was ready to do anything.

N again, yesterday i got a sms on my mobile from tata-sbi credit cards,that my due balance is around rs 7000.
Hopeless, but i again called her today,so many times i did call her but she is not picking up my phone.

Please take this compaint seriously as this is a "dhabba" on the name of honesty and on the name of "tata- sbi".
My life has got hell and i m feeling very helpless :-(.

Also, in between, i had dropped a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com but what reply i got from there, please find the mail attached below to see yourself.........................
Everytime, i drop a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com , i get the same reply from feedback.[protected]@ge.com....They write that i should write to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com..........................

What a joke is this, i don't understand. But my life has got miserable......

Hi,
I am shilpi from gurgaon. I am using tata sbi card with acrd no [protected] and i am very upset with the services provided.
In the month of september ,i had dropped the check in one of the drop boxes in noida but after 15-20 days i came to know that the check had been misplaced.
Then i talked to the customer care executive and posted a check to the delhi address.Again for another 20-25 days,the amount did not get debited from my account. I talked to customer care executive and i was asked to again do stop payment for the check.
Then in the month of november, i again dropped a check in gurgaon drop box and paid the full amount i.E rs 23,300 as per the outstanding balance at that time told by the customer care executive and had confirmed it with the customer care executive as well that now due balance is zero.
After bearing all this headache and also paying my bank the charges for stop payment of check for 2 times, i got card statement this month showing rs 4000 as the due balance.

I talked to the customer acre executive again. She looked the whole case history and agreed that mistake has been done at your end.
She told me that the bank got my previous checks after i did stop payment of my checks, so they ahd levied the charges for check bouncing and put interest for the whole amount of rs 23,300 and the interests for the subsequent months counted to be rs 4000.

She gave me this mail id and told me that the problem would be solved definitely.
I am very muich frustated with all this insensible service and want to cancel my card just now.
Respond to me at the earliest possible or i have to take some strict action.

Sir, My sister Abbasi Begum has tata phone modle 350.Since long she is not receiving the bill.Every time they demand TWO THOUSAND +.When ever we ask for bill on phone they do not say anything and disconnect out going. Here in Hyderabad your costumers are not satisfied with your management.Better to do some thing otherwise tour company will loose the bussiness. Thank You
I agree everything about tatasbi card. I faced similar problems. But i want tell something to make payment.
Dont use checks to pay card bill, use tatacard site and register ur card in below site. Then u can make ur payments directly and easily. www.tatacard.co.in or www.tatacard.com. I will make payments through this site only. No issues to me to make payments.

But one thing i am saying, dont pay any settlement amount when u have dues. Bcoz, not useful i[censored] pay
any settlement amount. Make full amount or dont pay 1rupee for the settlement. Why bcoz, they maintain cibil reports i[censored] have long dues. They only give clearance for that report when u pay full amount only. i[censored] pay settlement amount they dont give clearance report. Then no useful for ur settlement amount.
yes its absolutely true, though i also have card but i never activated this piece of , whether its tata or any other all the credit card companys are horrific towards there customer greviances ...there should some proper management regarding issuing of credit cards ..

SBI Credit Card — Duped of Rs. 15000.00 after final settlement

Hi,

This is regarding the final settlement of my SBI Credit Card.

I was contacted by one of SBI specialist, who offered me to close the card for Rs. 30,000.00 in two installments (Rs. 15,000.00 each). The letter was issued on March 06, 2009. The Tracer No mentioned on the letter is: PAN-REC83200XXXXXXXXX.

As per the letter, I was supposed to pay Rs. 15,000.00 each in the month of March and April 2009 respectively. I issued two cheques for these installments. However, due to some personal emergency, I wasn’t able to keep the balance in my account and the first cheque of Rs. 15,000 (March 2009) was dishonored.

I contacted the specialist and the case was forwarded to some senior person. I discussed everything with him and we zeroed on settlement of Rs. 34999.98 in six installments (Rs 5833.33 for each month). The Tracer No mentioned on this letter is: PAN-REC8420091XXXXXXX.

I requested to return the cheque of Rs. 15,000.00 that I issued per the first settlement, but I was told that the cheque would not be sent to bank.

I regularly made the payment of Rs. 5833.33 every month from April – September 2009. I have the contact details of the collection agency, collection agent and the "senior person" of SBI, who were involved in this.

On September 01, 2009, the collection agent came at my place and collected the two payments, which included the final payment (September 2009) as well.

I received a message from my bank (Axis) that a cheque of Rs. 15000.00 was debited from my account on September 02, 2009. I checked the details and it was the same cheque (May 2009) that was issued as per the first settlement, which should have been cancelled when the second settlement came into effect.

When I contacted collection agent about this issue, he said that he has no idea about this and can’t help out. I contacted "senior person" of SBI on his cell phone and he assured that things would be sorted out and he is forwarding the case to someone in Delhi. He told me that he is in Mumbai for training.

I am following-up this with him, but to no help. The cheque should not have been debited to my account, when I am making the regular payments as per the latest Settement. My only concern is to get my money (Rs. 15000.00) back. I have both the letters and the payment receipts with me.

Please help me sort out this issue.

State Bank of India — Credit card Cancellation - Reg

This is ponpandian from Thanjavur, Tamilnadu, India. I have owned SBI credit card (Card No: [protected]) for the past 2 years. Now a days i am receiving unwanted messages from SBI credit card services regarding pay the money through online. But i am not interested to pay the EMI in that mode. Currently i am paying every month through cheque. I wish to continue the same in future also. If there is any change i regret to inform i will cancel the credit card. so kindly intmate me as early as possible.

SBI Credit Card — Credit card Company not settling my outstanding Balance

My name is Vijay. I want to settle my outstanding balance but no one from SBI is contactiing me. I have placed 5 request to credit card section to contact me.
My outstanding balance was Rs 3000, now it has reached Rs 23000. I want to negotiate and settle the amount, so that my name from CIBIL can be removed. Since my request is not addressed I want to put this in correct forum.

I have very similar experience with TATA card. My kind suggestions to all my friends :

1. Please do not use credit card, if it has not online payment facility. Because many times cheque are misplaced if you are using drop box facility. I am using icici bank credit card. And it has facility of Credit card payment from other online bank account . That way you do not not need to worried about payment.
2. pay all due amount before date.
3. If there is any dispute transaction, contact to respective customer service and block the card and raise the dispute transaction.

Today I got a call from PUNE ([protected]). Someone from GE-SBI card called me for settlement. Reason is there was a pending amount of Rs-395.00 (approx) in the TATA Credit card statement few years back. I never use that card. But for annual charge it was sent to me. That time I denied to pay the amount as the TATA-SBI card representative told that as I am the TATA employee, the card will be life time valid without any additional charges. So I post a mail to the TATA credit card team requesting to close the account and cancel the card. After that no monthly statement received from my side. Suddenly after almost 2.5 years they are telling that I have an outstanding of Rs-6400.00(approx). They are ready to settle the amount by Rs-1265 also. But they are not ready to give me final fresh bill to close the issue. I can settle with the amount. But I heard that, if I go for settlement, my name will be marked badly (rather black listed) in the CIVIL report and in future I won't get any loan benefits from any bank. They are not ready to provide NOC as well.
So in this case if I settle with the amount, can I avail PL/HL/CL from any bank in future if required?

The Customer Care nos provided in the web portal is nort working, whenever you call on the same nos[protected] or 6000 8000 everytime you will get the same answers Network Busy.
My objective is if you are providing any nos then it should and must be in working conditions.
Tata Cards customer support is very poor, they are charging unnecessarily and bothers the customers every now and then.
My suggestion is to Improve the custmer care services if they would like to be in the market in future

SBI Credit Card — Not received the card till today but got an sms to pay the bill

Hello,

I've applied for SBI Credit card around 3 months back. Till today i've not received the card. I got an sms 08Oct2009 to pay the bill 598.57. Actually i've received the credit card till today. And i even dont know the status of my application. But i'm getting sms for the bills. I've received the similar sms 2 days back also.

I've mailed the matter to the SBI credit card deparment in the second week of October and till to day i didn't got any response. And conveyed the same thru SBI Customer care department. But no response.

Why should i pay for the thing which i haven't used. I dont want to corrupt my credit history for their negligence or errors. How can i get out of this.

SBI Credit Card — SBI Credit Card did not get approved

Dear Sir/Madam,

A sales exec collected all documents required and after 1week i get a msg with my app no[protected] after 2 weeks i get a msg stating that my card is not approved. When i contacted the agent - he tells me that i was not in my present address. I told him that i will be on medical leave for 2months and would be in my native place. I put my work address and my permananet address at where i stay. When i spoke to the sales manager. He also saying that i was not in my address. I specifically asked the executive where are they going to verify. No i dont know whats going to happen. There has been no information since Sept 27th.

The service from SBI customer care is poor too. When contacted they say they dont have much information on the card application.

I hope someone takes this a bit seriously on how to approach customers in a good manner.

SBI Credit Card — Outstanding for Closed credit card

I had a SBI credit card .
I was charged anuall fees of Rs 750 to which I had asked them to cancell my credit crad in month of Aril 09.
I had received a call from SBI & they confremed me that Card has been cancelled.
Now from then every month they are sending me statements & charging me late fees.
Now I have been informed that card is still active & are demanding for outstanding payments.
I have mailed them on 9th april for cancellation of my card & logged a copmlain for annaul charge on my card.
To this they have called me & confired for cancellation of my card but No written letter has been posted to me.
I was told that i will get a Tata Sbi card, but i was given a sbi credit card, i am a Tata staf, pls look into this matter i need a TATA SBI Card ( my card is 1 year old)

I am an axis bank credit card holder for almost 2 years & pay full due amount every month regularly except for the month of Sep-oct 09. the amount for the period from[protected]-2009 was Rs. 6540.75.

I made a part payment of Rs. 4000.00 in cash at Vashi branch of the bank on the due date & the outstanding balance of this month was Rs. 2540.75.

I was charged an interest of Rs.707+73 (Service tax) in their next statement which was much on the higher side as max.interest amount might have been not more than Rs. 76.00 on the remaining amount of Rs.2540.75. @ max 3%.

I checked with Axis bankofficer who himself did not know how this amount of Rs.780.00 (combined) was arrived at. he referred me to account deptt & I asked for a statement of interest for the same amount.

the details sent to me was shocking as I was charged interest on all previous transactions done during the year that had been already paid every month regularly by me.

I have paid only due interest on the balance amount Rs. [protected]@ 3% in the next payment & did not pay as bank had levied on me which is unjustified & unwanted as I feel.

My question now is -
How could Axis Bank charge interest on all transactions of past which are already paid every month?
My Advice to Axis Bank is to give me a reversal of this extra interest amount levied on me in their new statement of Dec.09. otherwise I will take proper action & may cancel the credit card..

My experience with Tata Credit card was harrowing. More the less the back support team seems to be the most un realistic and un sensual towards any matter with their customers.

I must have sent 12 mails to them as I understood that there is a big difference between their customer care nos. response and what actually we recieve from the bank. Its a spurious activity which is going on and every one is just playing with both the big names " Tata" and "SBI" which had been the absolute a local and faithful names with all our previous generations.

Friends, I would request you all to boycote this VIRTUAL TATA CARD and come to the reality.
