[Resolved]  Tata - SBI Credit Card — Complaint against tata-sbi credit card.

Hi, i am shilpi from delhi.
I was holding a tata-sbi credit card.
I am very very very frustated with services of this card.
First of all, anytime i drop my check in some drop box,it gets misplaced.
And after doing lots and lots of effort,when i managed to pay my due amout and confirming due balance as zero from customer support executive, tata sbi credit card. I again kept on getting messages for this card that my due balance was 4000.
After many days,i got a call from an executive named sapna (Her mobile no is [protected]), she told me that the whole settement would be done in rs 500.I told her that i had already paid the full amount.
She said, to close the account,i need to pay this amount. She assured me that this stupid card account would get closed once i do the said payment.
I was so much annoyed that i decided to pay rs 500,as my life had become a hell dur to this card.
I paid the said amount to an executive named vivek([protected]) and also surrendered my acrd to him.

Then after months of doing follow up with sapna, i did not get any positive response from her. She always told me that it has been processed, it would be done soon. I was so much fed up with her irresponsible response.

Then one day, i again got a call from tata-sbi cards, that my due amount is around rs 6000 and i have to pay it.

I then called sapna to know about what the hell is going on there.
When i asked her about the due balance, she told me that she has left the tata-sbi credit card company and she has joined a new company. Now she can not do anything.
She said she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.

I again called her after 2 days.When i asked her about what has happened.She said she has talked to her boss.
I was so much shocked,when i asked her whether she has the credit card no or my full name or my mobile no and she had none of them.
I gave her all these things and requested to do the needful.She said she would call me back.

After waiting for her call, i called her.She picked up my phone after a long time and when i asked her, she said now she is not bothered about all this. I asked her that she had left the company only some time back, whereas i had done the payment so many months ago. She was not interested to hear anything.
Now everytime i call her, she tells me the same thing that she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.
I asked her to give me the concerned person's contact no or mail id,so that i can take the initiative at my end. But she never gave me that.
I called at tata-sbi card toll free no([protected]) also, but no bosy was ready to do anything.

N again, yesterday i got a sms on my mobile from tata-sbi credit cards,that my due balance is around rs 7000.
Hopeless, but i again called her today,so many times i did call her but she is not picking up my phone.

Please take this compaint seriously as this is a "dhabba" on the name of honesty and on the name of "tata- sbi".
My life has got hell and i m feeling very helpless :-(.

Also, in between, i had dropped a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com but what reply i got from there, please find the mail attached below to see yourself.........................
Everytime, i drop a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com , i get the same reply from feedback.[protected]@ge.com....They write that i should write to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com..........................

What a joke is this, i don't understand. But my life has got miserable......

Hi,
I am shilpi from gurgaon. I am using tata sbi card with acrd no [protected] and i am very upset with the services provided.
In the month of september ,i had dropped the check in one of the drop boxes in noida but after 15-20 days i came to know that the check had been misplaced.
Then i talked to the customer care executive and posted a check to the delhi address.Again for another 20-25 days,the amount did not get debited from my account. I talked to customer care executive and i was asked to again do stop payment for the check.
Then in the month of november, i again dropped a check in gurgaon drop box and paid the full amount i.E rs 23,300 as per the outstanding balance at that time told by the customer care executive and had confirmed it with the customer care executive as well that now due balance is zero.
After bearing all this headache and also paying my bank the charges for stop payment of check for 2 times, i got card statement this month showing rs 4000 as the due balance.

I talked to the customer acre executive again. She looked the whole case history and agreed that mistake has been done at your end.
She told me that the bank got my previous checks after i did stop payment of my checks, so they ahd levied the charges for check bouncing and put interest for the whole amount of rs 23,300 and the interests for the subsequent months counted to be rs 4000.

She gave me this mail id and told me that the problem would be solved definitely.
I am very muich frustated with all this insensible service and want to cancel my card just now.
Respond to me at the earliest possible or i have to take some strict action.

i am agree because i applied for TATA SBI CARD in the month of JUNE but till today i have not receved any card not any responce frome your company. please look after this matter seriously.

SBI Credit Card — Not waived off the services charges after making the payment

I have been holding SBI Credit card from last 3 years. and I inactivated the card in january 2008. But Still I am getting bills. I am not at all happy with their services and i wanted to cancel the card so i called up customer care some time in july 2nd week. and I talked to SBI executives (Srikanth and Subbu), as per them i had a outstanding of 290 Rs and I was told that once I make my payment all the service charges (around 700 Rs) will be waived and my balance will become 0. but again i got the bill of 300 Rs again then i called up SBI credit Customer care and i was told again I have to pay the bill of 300 Rs then only my balance will be 0. now i have frustrated on this. pls advise wht to do
Tata people are worse all are providing credit card free of charge no annual fees or joking fees. They do say that while applying for card But later they just send a bill and forget their words or their words will be thrown to air .My friend is also using a tata card they have same experience now they have sent a bill for 1000 rs as renewal fees .When others are providing free of cost why are these people charging. Even I have a very bad experience with Tata Tele service I had booked a landline first three month billings was proper then bill started flying .I was very frustrated then tried spiking to customer care no go no response they just say you have used so you have got the bill they are very rude .Then I stopped using for a month I got another BSNL line. I switched off the tata phone and kept it I did not even receive any call or make call for entire month. I was under basic plan around 180 rs + tax 50 that’s what I expected I got 400 rs for not using the phone .I Just went to tata customer care and throw the phone after clearing the bill .If we request for detail bill justification .You need top pay 100 rs again and get the bogus bill
SO please say no this guys PLEase be aware when ever you buy things ...

SBI Credit Card — Receiving call for payment even though I closed the Card & paid whole due amount

My husband and I had applied for an Axis Bank free credit card. We are currently posted in Visakhapatnam.
Last month I received two calls -

one from: [protected] (at 11:30 am) and the second from: [protected] (at 3:30 in the afternoon)

All our details are mentioned clearly, but the Axis Bank call centre employees don't seem to know the difference between a private organization and a government organization. Both the persons who called are asking us whether 'Defence is a private organization?'. Their call centre employees should be able to speak in English/ Hindi, other than just Telugu. It is so difficult to communicate with people who donot speak any other language.

Every time some call centre employee would call from Axis Bank, would only speak in Telugu. Whenever I would explain to them that I cannot speak Telugu and whether they can speak in Hindi/ English, they would hang up. Is this what and how one should train the people they hire? They have absolutely no manners, no professionalism and know no other language. How are we to communicate with them?

None of the Axis Bank call centre employees identify themselves properly, they don't even mention their full names, and we cannot communicate with them because they don't speak any other language.

Sept. 09, 2008 - I have just been informed that my Axis Bank credit card has been rejected and the Axis Bank call centre employees have no idea why. Axis Bank has such incompetent people working that they don;t know how to speak other languages, especially when this is the banking industry.
I have just been informed by Axis Bank that I cannot apply for another credit card for the next six months. This is utterly ridiculous that because of a language barrier that the Axis Banks employees only speak in Telugu, my credit card application gets rejected.

SBI Credit Card Division — Card is been closed 2 years back. I just received a bill statement copy recently

Im Karthik, Im located at nothern part of chennai.
I had a SBI Credit card long back and its been closed a couple of years back and I do have a closure statement from their end on May 22 2006, Ref: MQ[protected] signed by the Manager - Customer Services. I received a Billing statement dated 20 Aug 2008 Showing the credit limit and Available cash limit. And the outsatnding of Rupees 1.98 . I know its a very small amount but for me one rupee is also a rupee, since i really know the value of money. My question is when the card is been permanently closed and cutted into five pieces. How come its still in active condition. More over when I called again after receiving the billing statement recently. I immediatly called the call centre peoples. To be honest its really a worst customer handling procedures they follow and they behave in a very arogant manner when I asking them the question. I was speaking through my mobile and they doesnt know the value of money and for this issue I have speaking with Ms. Hena her behaviour was very very rude and arogant. She doesnt know how to speak with a customer. And finally after fursatation of mine, she connected me to the Sr. Person his name is Mr. Vinoth Kumar. Even he didnt get me a proper answer for this. He says that mistakes can happen its a human error. But I feel this made me a mental torchure and created a bad setup in my mind and killing my peace. This gentle men promised me to send me an closure statement again in 4 days. I spoke with him on August 29 2008 around 11.30 a.m. This call went through for more than 30 min through my mobile number. Still now I have received any message from SBI department. To be honest the resaon when I closed long back is the mis behaviour of their staffs and Im sure they might have the records in their database. So this what the SBI Credit Card Division is Functioning and also they make the customer in bad shape making them mentally distrubed. I was about to take a legal action and post the same in You Tube so that the world knows how the SBI Credit Card work out and they way they treat the customers.

SBI Credit Cards — unwanted taxes 4 which i am liable to pay.

sbi cards r thretening us for the unwanted chargers to pay for which we are not liable to pay. The sbi callcentre people are giving threats for all these things.
they have given us the loan of Rs63, 000/- in the september 2007 and we have paid all the cheques of Rs3150/- till august2007 but still the balance of the loan is naot deducted correctly from the balance of the given loan.
Unwanted charges r placed in the cards which rare exactly wrong.
We are really fed up of all the these things handling these problems Now a days.

valid date on my credit card is 11/8 so what shall i do after this date.

Few months back . I visited the Tata Indicom office, Ahmedabad. I met a Representive, who shown interest to provide TATA-SBI card

Since one month, I am receiving sms from TATA- SBI that, the card is dispatched.
But .so far no card is reached to my hand. I have received PIN Number for the card.
Is my card is lost or on the way. I called the SBI card call center; they don’t have any idea and called to 60008000 for TATA- SBI more than once.
Hope the concern officers may do the needful

LIKE MANY OTHERS I TOO BECAME A VICTIM TO THIS HORRIBLE CARD CALLED TATA SBI CREDIT CARD.
I HAVE MANY OTHER CREDIT CARDS BUT NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH BILLINGG, TRANSACTIONS AND STATEMENTS. WHILE SHOPPING AT TATA'S CROMA SHOW ROOM, I WAS ASKED FEW DETAILS AND THEN THEY STARTED CHASING ME FOR MORE DETAILS FOR ISSUING THE CARD. TATA'S HAVE GOOD REPUTATION. I CONCEDED AND GOT THE CARD. MY DAUGHTER WARNED ME AGAINST USING THIS CARD AS SHE KNEW ABOUT SEVERAL COMPLAINTS AGAINST THE CARD. NOW I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. THE STATEMENTS ARE CONFUSING. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE FOR ADDRESSING MY PROBLEMS, MISTAKES IN THE STATEMENT, ETC. BUT THEY KEEP ON CALLING EVERYDAY FOR PAYMENTS. EVERY TIME SOME NEW CALLER IS ON LINE AND ENTIRE EPISODE OF PROBLEMS HAVE TO BE REPEATED WITHOUT ANY SOLOUTION TO THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM. BUT THEY ADD INTEREST/PENALTY/LATE FEES PROMPTLY WITHOUT SOLVING THE PROBLEM THAT CAUSED THE DELAY. EITHER YOU PAY UP WHAT THEY WRONGLY DEMAND OR GO ON PAYING WRONG CLAIMS IN THE STATEMENT. TO HELL WITH THIS CARD. HAD I BEEN IN DELHI I WOULD HAVE MET THEM IN PERSON FOR SOME DRESSING DOWN.

SBI Credit Card — Card Not Delivered after many promising phone calls

It’s been a more than a month that the credit card i applied for haven’t came yet. More is last month some body called up stating that the billing statement has came, without receiving the card, A few days back some lady called up for my address, but its still in the same position . I.e. Card not delivered after many promising phone calls.

Tata SBI Credi card — Not receiving Statements on time

Am Vishwanath from Chennai, i do not receive my statements in time and when i call the customer care for my details they do not have the RIGHT details. How do you expect us ( customers ) to make the payment before the due date and this payment is not accepted at all the places too.

I request you to make a note of this and please issue the Statements on time to avoid late payments and the satisfaction of the CUSTOMER.

Failing which i might be forced not to use this card as i do not want to be noted as default pay master becuase of the delay of you sending the statments.

Hope action is taken immediately.

I do not hold any credit card but still nationalised bank like State bank of India dared to send me fake bill.I do not hold any credit card for past many years.Take firm action against Stae bank of India.
