[Resolved]  Tata - SBI Credit Card — Complaint against tata-sbi credit card.

Hi, i am shilpi from delhi.
I was holding a tata-sbi credit card.
I am very very very frustated with services of this card.
First of all, anytime i drop my check in some drop box,it gets misplaced.
And after doing lots and lots of effort,when i managed to pay my due amout and confirming due balance as zero from customer support executive, tata sbi credit card. I again kept on getting messages for this card that my due balance was 4000.
After many days,i got a call from an executive named sapna (Her mobile no is [protected]), she told me that the whole settement would be done in rs 500.I told her that i had already paid the full amount.
She said, to close the account,i need to pay this amount. She assured me that this stupid card account would get closed once i do the said payment.
I was so much annoyed that i decided to pay rs 500,as my life had become a hell dur to this card.
I paid the said amount to an executive named vivek([protected]) and also surrendered my acrd to him.

Then after months of doing follow up with sapna, i did not get any positive response from her. She always told me that it has been processed, it would be done soon. I was so much fed up with her irresponsible response.

Then one day, i again got a call from tata-sbi cards, that my due amount is around rs 6000 and i have to pay it.

I then called sapna to know about what the hell is going on there.
When i asked her about the due balance, she told me that she has left the tata-sbi credit card company and she has joined a new company. Now she can not do anything.
She said she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.

I again called her after 2 days.When i asked her about what has happened.She said she has talked to her boss.
I was so much shocked,when i asked her whether she has the credit card no or my full name or my mobile no and she had none of them.
I gave her all these things and requested to do the needful.She said she would call me back.

After waiting for her call, i called her.She picked up my phone after a long time and when i asked her, she said now she is not bothered about all this. I asked her that she had left the company only some time back, whereas i had done the payment so many months ago. She was not interested to hear anything.
Now everytime i call her, she tells me the same thing that she would talk to her boss in tata-sbi credit cards.
I asked her to give me the concerned person's contact no or mail id,so that i can take the initiative at my end. But she never gave me that.
I called at tata-sbi card toll free no([protected]) also, but no bosy was ready to do anything.

N again, yesterday i got a sms on my mobile from tata-sbi credit cards,that my due balance is around rs 7000.
Hopeless, but i again called her today,so many times i did call her but she is not picking up my phone.

Please take this compaint seriously as this is a "dhabba" on the name of honesty and on the name of "tata- sbi".
My life has got hell and i m feeling very helpless :-(.

Also, in between, i had dropped a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com but what reply i got from there, please find the mail attached below to see yourself.........................
Everytime, i drop a mail to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com , i get the same reply from feedback.[protected]@ge.com....They write that i should write to customer.[protected]@tatacard.com..........................

What a joke is this, i don't understand. But my life has got miserable......

Hi,
I am shilpi from gurgaon. I am using tata sbi card with acrd no [protected] and i am very upset with the services provided.
In the month of september ,i had dropped the check in one of the drop boxes in noida but after 15-20 days i came to know that the check had been misplaced.
Then i talked to the customer care executive and posted a check to the delhi address.Again for another 20-25 days,the amount did not get debited from my account. I talked to customer care executive and i was asked to again do stop payment for the check.
Then in the month of november, i again dropped a check in gurgaon drop box and paid the full amount i.E rs 23,300 as per the outstanding balance at that time told by the customer care executive and had confirmed it with the customer care executive as well that now due balance is zero.
After bearing all this headache and also paying my bank the charges for stop payment of check for 2 times, i got card statement this month showing rs 4000 as the due balance.

I talked to the customer acre executive again. She looked the whole case history and agreed that mistake has been done at your end.
She told me that the bank got my previous checks after i did stop payment of my checks, so they ahd levied the charges for check bouncing and put interest for the whole amount of rs 23,300 and the interests for the subsequent months counted to be rs 4000.

She gave me this mail id and told me that the problem would be solved definitely.
I am very muich frustated with all this insensible service and want to cancel my card just now.
Respond to me at the earliest possible or i have to take some strict action.

SBI Credit Card — Helpline not available

there is no helpline telephone numbers available for SBI credit card.

the site is not updated with right numbers.

paid number also refers to one toll free number but which is also not working.


Very shame to SBI that they are very agreesive in marketing but zero in service.

Is this the Indian Culture we are reprenting ?

SBI Credit Card — very poor service of sbi card department

Dear Sir,

My credit card no.- [protected]. I have received call from SBI customer care on 10 th of jun for easy emi payment of outstanding amount.

She told me "You have to give six cheque of 2740 for sixmonth and your card will be blocked no extra charges like Fin charge on rental will be add in your account".

That time my total outstanding amount was 15326.80/-.

I had given the six cheque of standard charted bank to sbi executive (Cheque No. 100479 to 100484)amount is 2740/- on 12th june 2010. I also have receiving of sbi executive, But till date we don't have received any confirmation from sbi side.

I have received my card statement on 24th jun I have seen again Fin charges on rental is add in my statement.

Please do needful.

SBI Credit Card — i have not have any sbi credit card even then they are asking for payment

i have not received any cards from sbi nor i have any accounts in sbi,but they send first a statement to me then i have registered my complaint at their customer care centre that i dont' have any sbi card. i have never used sbi card.after that they have called me to deposit the same again i have replied as i have said earlier then now today ihave received a sms on my fone. they have never contacted me earlier for any statement either by post, e-mail or sms. now they want me to pay which ihave not used or spended, even i have not received any card
When I visisted a dept. store, a sales man had compeled to me for a tata card. Actually, I was not interested that. Finally he told me that for this card no any service chard or any other charges you have to paid. In his assurance only I agreed that. But I had been used this card any time. Recently I received a sms message to paid the Rs.275.75/- and last date is 1st Aug. 2010. I am not ready to pay any cost for this, and now I want to cancel this card. I am using the credit card of other bank since last 8 years, but I had not been paid any extra charges for this.. I am not satisfy with this tata card. Let me know what to do to cancel this card. my mail is [protected]@yahoo.co.in.
I have a tata card no. [protected]. Since I got a statement for paying Rs.275.75 towards annual fee. When the representative request for this card, he assured me that the free is totaly free of cost i.e no annual fee or any other. So I am not paying any amount for this. TATA — COMPLAINT & OPINION

I posted this complaint on[protected] & now I am happy to tell you that I have changed my internet connection from TATA sxc 1080 modem to MTNL broadband ( cheaper than tata & very good service ). I dont recommend TATA to anyone. They are fooling people.

Credit Card — never used, never paid

Standard Chartered Bank, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh had issued the following credit card in my name and my wife's name as detailed below.

The said cards were never used and never paid by me and my wife. It only came to my notice when I applied for education loan for my daughter that there is an outstanding amount against me. Hence it is in the list of CIBIL (list of defaulters in bank). This is highly unprofessional and unethical on the part of the bank. This has not even deprived me of availing the loan facility, merely on a forged document of issuing a credit card, mentioning as free of cost and then adding illogical, non-supportive expenses and making me as a customer, a defaulter and depriving me of getting any financial assistance.

This should be thoroughly checked on top priority and the bank should issue no dues in favour of me and instruct to remove my name from the defaulters list.

State Bank of India / Credit Card — No proper feedback and support

This is to inform you that I was a regular user of SBI credit card and a regular and on time payment payer, for the purchases been made. Once I have not received the statement and accordingly I written letter and accordingly in within 2 month I received the statement but in that i got a penalty for not paying the previous payment. I complaint for that but there was no response, instead I started getting calls with different persons and they started talking a very irretating language, even just to mention here one of them mentioned that our sales exe can say anything it is the customer who should look into, and should take Credit Card, one of them removed my qualifiaction and was very roude in talking, I was really surprise to listen such type of laungage from the bank like SBI, once somebody called and harressed me and used bad laungage and I really got shocked for the same. Looking to so much criticalilty i stopped purchasing on SBI card, and till today I am just getting phone calls and pressuring unnessearly and what even i am asking to them that please give me the total statement for the purchases made and payment given and if my any payment is balance towards purchase then I am ready to pay but nobody is supporting on that front and are just taking talking and presuring, before one of them also said that only your Rs. 695/- is balance and was explaining me please do not ask the statement and believe me and said if I am ready then sending the person at home and will collect the payment, receipt will be given and that receipt will be put on tracker and the final setllement will be cleared and accordingly the person given me in writing also, but again to my surprise nothing happenned, and again phone calls started coming that since you have not received any tracker no that means the payment is balance and you have to pay it or you will face problem.

Dear Gentelemen, I am really getting health problem because of such behaviour of SBI persons and telephonic harrasement without any fault of mine, with deep regret i am registering my complaint seeking some solution towards write off the amount and removing me from such terrific experince from the bank like SBI.

SBI Credit Card Division — Not giving the status

I have received a settlement letter from sbi for giving the amount in three installments in three months.I cleared all the payments. I have received the call from sbi about my cheque bounce due to out station cheque. But I confirmed from my bank "Allahabad bank that the payment has been made and is transfered to sbi account via the cheque I gave to them. I also sent sbi the scan copy of my bank statement, but still they are not providing any status as to whether my balance are closed or not. I have sent few mails to sbi and concern dept. but there is no response and frequently they are giving me pressure to pay again. i am sending you attach proof of my bank statement for any ref.

hello, i am Mr.Chirag patel and i have tata sbi credit card which was offered by someone representative of croma store of electronic at ahmedabad gujrat.
as per his guidance that card facility was free and i can use that card when i buy any electronic item from croma store. after one year some was call me and collected some documents and bank statement from me.
when i was received the card i was shocked to see the credit limit of that card that was just 15000 rs.
so i had decided to do not use that card and till today i had not use this card.
but since lasr four month before i was received a statement of my card showing the membership payment.
so now i had decided to do not use this card and return to the authority person.

SBI — Not holding your credit card

Dear Sir,

I am not holding your credit card, neither I have operated your credit card for last more than 3 to 4 years. Earlier I was holding one SBI card, but I closed that card long back and same was informed to you that time. I never continued that subsequently.
Now, yesterday I received statement from you for outstanding payment of Rs. 1860.13,( including late fee charges) for CARD NO. [protected].
Pl. note that sine I have not operated your card for any time, there is no question of paying the same.
If you feel that I have operated the card, pl. arrange to send me my statements for last 1 year.
I hope, there is some misunderstanding from your side, and you will correct it.

State Bank of India — Not picking call

Hi, I am Madhu Arora from delhi.
I lost my ATM card 4 days to ago. From past 4 days i am calling SBI customer service but they are not picking the call. I want to stop the functioning of the previous ATM card so that it is not misused. I have already mailed them about my problem. Thank you if you could help me in this regard.

Credit Card — not received card from last 20 days

I got the message confirming my credit card approved & sent through express It courier with ref no SB[protected] . from last 2 weeks iam waiting for my card even i complained thrice to Express IT about this , till now i have not got my card .

SBI TATA card service is just miserable. and their customer care executive are just .
I am sunil shastri, i am holding SBI tata card, i am very upset with sevice given by Tata card.

I hv updated my new contact number and address both (resi and office)
but still i hv not reveiced my new card, every time they asking my office addrss and nerver sent any feedback or reply
This is really rubbish. File a police case against SBI.
