[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Regarding the "Recharge" and "Miscellaneous charges "

Hi,
I got the New Tata Sky Installed at my home on 15 the Oct 2009 for Rs 5999/- by using the Credit Card for payment.As i knew that by making a Rs 5999/- using Credit Card the first month subscription was free.

Problem :
1>The Installation Engineer didn't give us the any Recharge Coupen .
2>After Installation every day i use to get the SMS asking me to recharge my account.
3>On 18-Oct-2009 i received a SMS that my account has been recharged by Rs 1000/-.I have no information who had recharged that as myself or none of my family member had done that.
4>On 19-Oct-09 the Tata sky started displaying that "You are not authorized" and was not able to view TataSky for 30 hrs.
5>On 19-Oct-09 i talked toTataSky Customer Care asking why i am not able to view TataSky at least for the month with paying any amount and who had recharged my account.Tata Sky representative:Ravinder
6>On 21-Oct-09 i came to know that my account is showing Rs -100 which means that Extra wire had been used while installation that is why they i need to pay Rs 100/- but at the time of installation no one not even Engineer told me that extra charges will be required to pay for wire.

My problem is that "One month subscription will be FREE, If the payment is made by using Credit Cards"
but still i a have asked to pay or recharge my account and wasn't able to view the TataSky and now they are asking me to pay for the wire.I am having pain using TataSky even before a week is over.

Please help me and try to resolve my problem so that i can use TataSky at least for a month.

Hi Mr.Mahendra,
Good step there taken to avail one month free subscription. The installation engineer though its his duty must have forgotten to provide you with recharge coupon. There must have been discrepancy in the account number that you have been using, this information should have been immediately reported to the authority. You need to crosscheck with your account no. to see if it is mistaken. If there is a account query that could be the problem you are imposed with unsound charges as you did not avail facility of any of the cost imposed. The cost of wire too might be on the same basis. There may be secondary possible problems that needs to be informed get in contact with customer care and provide technician visit details they should be able to pull up your account information.
