Tata Sky — Wrong information given to get the subscription

I was having a Tata Sky DTH connection. I was having the annual subscription of Super Saver pack which expired on 8th March.
I got a call from Tata Sky person Deepak on 11th March in which he told me that the same package will cost Rs. 3025/= while the same last year was Rs. 2600/=. I asked him that I will better disconnect the connection and look for alternate service provider. He offered me a package of Rs. 2650/= in which I will continue getting all the channels I was viewing currently except some english entertainment channels like Star Movies, HBO, CNN. I especially asked him if I will continue to get the business and Kids channel. He told me that they will remain as-it-is. Additonally we will start geting more Hindi entertainment channels like Colors, Zoom etc.
I agreed for that and ask him to send their agent to collect the money and activate the same package. After I paid 2700/= and got the package activated, I found that the business channels like NDTV-Profit, Zee Business and kidz channel like Pogo are not available.
I called up the call center and they told me that these channels are not patt of the package. I ladged a complaint (complaint # 1-[protected]) after talking to their supervisor Sushil Sharma.
I asked them to refund my money and I will like to disconnect the connection. They didnt agreed to refund the money.
They collected the money from me by giving wrong information. Now they want to penalize the consumer by not refunding the money.

Please help in getting my money back from Tata Sky.

Annual Mega-pack comes for Rs 5, 500 (except the Topper composite channel) & 12 Showcase movies. Super Saver pack comes for Rs 3, 025 which is the revised amount. In order to clarify details about which pack you have subscribed to and which channels are included in it you should check for package details provided on Tata Sky website:http://tatasky.com/channel-packages.html. South Saver Pack comes upto Rs 2, 600 you must have been probably alloted the pack but it is better for you to make a choice of the package most of it customer service may advice certain package thinking your need might be met as you mention some channels and he acknowledges it but there might be many more channels of your choice that may not fall in the package that has been suggested hence it will be better and will also provide clarity to check the packages from the site to make a pre-determined decision. You should be clear of the amount that you are paying and also check the actual price of the package to avoid discrepancy of calculation and the amount debited. When you have the clear idea of packages and the channels incuded in it the information will be very important specially for you as any channels missing from the package will help you to voice your greviance. There has been certain mishap in delivery of information which was communicated by the customer care at the time of alloting the package. Call the billing department to get the details of payment they may be able to help you out by sorting the package that you have been alloted.
