[Resolved] Tata Sky — Refusal to renew annual package in few days advance | |
Hi, I'm a Tata Sky subscriber with two connections in the family ([protected] and [protected]). My annual package in [protected] is due for renewal in Jan.'11 (somewhere around 8th - 12th Jan.) and I have already deposited the requisite amount in my account. But the beauty is that their call centre executives tell me that I can not renew my annual package in advance (which, in any case, is due in less than a month) or if I insist then the renewal will be done from today - leading to a loss of remainin days ! According to company's extant policy, I have to wait for the expiry of present annual package period before I can renew the same. This brings to a very likely and discomfirting scenario as to if I'm busy on that particular date or if I forget then either they would snap the transmission or start debiting my account (since in this case, I have already made a fool of myself by depositing the annual amount in advance) at a much higher daily / monthly rate ! It does not happen in any other industry. By this logic, I should wait for my vehicle's insurance to expire and then renew it ! Weird ! Absurd ! Illogical ! Plain stupid ! Can you do something for me in particular and for thousands of other subscribers in general ? Was this information helpful? | |
