[Resolved] Tata Sky — Service Charges | |||
Hi, I installed my Tata Sky in 2006. In these 5 years I came across problems many times and all the time after a heated argument with customer supports it gets resolve. This time once again the transmission get cut off for 15 days as I thought due to heavy rains in Mumbai might be the problems with the signal but as the problem continued I tried to call the customer care of Tata sky. After lot of discussion and pressure they ensure me to take action and deputed their engineers to my home. I am staying in an apartment at CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. I shifted to this apartment few months back and that time the engineer who came for installation of Tata sky at my home, told me that we have a multi use disk fitted at the roof of our apartment and no need to use the disk I was carrying with me. This time when the engineer came for the trouble shooting found that there was a problem in a switch at a junction box fitted for the multiple use. He changed the switch and the transmission at my home was resorted. Next time when I switched on the Tata Sky found there was a deduction and mentioned towards relocation. I called the customer care and once again tried to clarify the malfunctioning of the switch was not my problem but it is problem due to the poor service support. So Tata Sky should not charge me. But it was told to me that whenever I call to customer care for complains it will be chargeable even if it is not related to my personal connection. I feel it is completely a non professional way of dealing with the customers and also it looks like Tata Sky customer support as well as Service support team feels they carry out the terms as per their flexibility. I tried to reach some senior personal in Tata Sky but no details were provided to me. I hope this will be read by someone in Tata Sky and same kind of charges shall not be applied to the customers in future. Was this information helpful? | |||
