[Resolved]  Tata Sky Dth Services — Increasing package price.

This is complaint against Tata Sky Dish TV.

I had taken taken Tata Sky in Aug 2006 after long discussion with them. I had take connection for INR 4000/- & during period they confirmed that they are going to add telugu channels in two-three months time at same cost. They added south package almost after one year & that also excluding package price at that time.

During last six months they are revamping channels & prices.

During revaming they had removed many channels of sports & many others & when asked they had said that this is as per coustomer request. When I had asked list of the coustomers who had demanded to remove these channels they deny by saying they can't give list of those coustomers. I think in India people are mad about cricket & i am confident & sure that nobody will ask to remove these sports channels, this is required to be checked from Tata Sky on this issue & should be demanded list of coustomers & after these they put these channels 0n pay to basis.

When as an coustomer i demanded for adding telugu channels they confirmed that this is not possible as it is a separate package & for these channels we had to add this package at extra cost. So their is separate rules for adding & deletion of the channels.

Recently again Tata Sky has increaed some package price (Family Package) from 200 to 215/- by saying they had added some channels & from recently added channels i see almost all channels are air to free channels. When i enquired regarding addition of channels, as per coustomer support all channels in Tata Sky are paid channels & their are no air to free channels available in the tata sky, same i had asked to give it in mail but they are reluctant to give it saying they can't give this in mail. They can give all information in the SMS format & as per Tata Sky they reply to queries in mail format but they can't give mail saying their are no air to free channels available in the tata sky. So Tata Sky is literly fooling the people by simply giving negligience answer & they are doing the thing in their on way & i think their is no control of the goverment on these people. For these newly added channels, when i asked who had requested to add channels & increase price they are not having any answer & are not submitting list of the coustomer who had demanded these channels. So, these people are playing with indian people as per their will & wish.

So, it is my strong request, some actions & policy has to be formulated on these service provided & some uniformity has to be their.

When we mail them on the query, we will not have direct reply insted they will give their package price & cahnnels available in the package, they will never give direct answer to the query.

I want information on above query from Tata Sky at the earliest.

TATA SKY DTH SERVICE — Package channels removed for no reason

I had called customer support for adding Gold package, Ten Sports and 260 Rs package.

Earlier the Star Cricket, ESPN, Star Sports were free till 30 Sep 2008.

But now these channels are missing. I tried calling and making the customer support understand the issue.

But the response is pathetic. Each ther 10 new suggestions to restart and check the box but no proper resonse.

It looks as if i am a fool to avail additional channels and lose existing ones for no reason.

Please add these channels in 2 days or just revoke all my earlier additions to previous status of 200 Rs monthly package.
