[Resolved]  Tata Sky — no signal

Regarding tata sky off since 2 week. Nobody responding me to your helpline as well as dealear also. Already i register complent befor 2 week. Kindly give my mail responce and solve my problem as soon as posible. My i d no [protected] my ph no [protected] [protected]

Tata Sky — No reception in rains

From a brand which is represents india, TATA Sky during this rainfalls was a complete letdown. I believe we all had to face the no signal message whenever the rains we pouring. Well we all wanted to listen to the news and see what was happening around but it there was just a message on the screen from tata sky.

I even called up the service center and was told that due to rains it was happening. I know whenever a technology is implemented it takes some time to be fully functional.

I believe tata sky will take necessary steps and correct the flaw.

We have already complained about this fault vide complaint no. 1-[protected] on[protected].
Your Engineer visited twice to rectify the complaint but failed to dignose the reason for the problem and promised to visit again on[protected] with necessary equipments. But he did not turn up with solution to the problem.
Kindly arrange to rectify the complaint as soon as possible and confirm.

IM DISMAYED AT THE tata SKY SIGNAL QUALITY OR SHOULD I SAY THE LACK OF IT IN THE RAINY SEASON. MORE OFTEN THAN NOT THERE IS SIGNAL POOR SIGNAL, OR BETTER STILL -NO SIGNAL. tHERE WERE TALL PROMISESOF BEST SERVICE, ALL SEASON DUARBILITY ETC AT THE TIME OF SALES, AND NOW THERE NEITHER SIGNAL NOR SERVICEMEN AVAILABLE.

TO ENSURE THAT THE CUSTOMER IS STUCK WITH THEM THEY GIVE NOREFUND PLANS WITH SUBSCRIPTION OF `ATLEAST 6 MONTHS TO 1 YEAR.
in spite of repeated requests tatasky people have failed to provide proper service there digicom pluss it seems is a failure
I am a Tata Sky & Tata Sky+ customer since last 3 years. Today is the fourth day that my connection is having no signal problem. In fact the whole building (who are having Tata Sky) are facing the same problem. The company sent a technician yesterday but he did not even inform us anything. He went to the terrace and tried fiddeling around and left without informing any affected subscribers.
Tata Sky sms's the mobile no. of technician to the Subscribers. On calling him, he said, his superior will come the next day and do the needful.
The company is not at all competent in providing service to the customer. The customer care numbers do not work. The customer care executives cut off the lines purposely. They just do not want to help you. I am writing this, at 1:50 pm on May 3rd, but still no resolution to the problem.
Please advise what I can do to resolve this matter quickly. Also, as I hold 2 DTH boxes, I do not want to invest in other company's DTH boxes.

There could have been some natural calamity that must have either shifted the direction of the Dish pointing or caused some deviation in the signal reception. The benefit of the situation could demand a bargain as the group demand could reduce the cost of tech visit as the purpose was common, usually for a tech visit Rs.350 is charged there could have been an exception to this case as a single visit could solve joint/a groups demand (all those who have Tata Sky in the building). Since the technician did have a look at the dish and said it required his superior to look into the matter the case may be solved by the tech's superior. It is good to acknowledge the name and number of the technician visiting the place this may provide reference in future. In the DTH industry a good level can be experienced from Tata Sky when you compare your experience with other DTH in the industry. It could be helpful to acquire the number of the tech's supervisor visiting the place so on non arrival he could be contacted or can be reported to the customercare. The matter should be most probably fixed by the tech's supervisor and as a group the society can avail the advantage to pay only for his single visit and not for each and every subscriber.

I have been using Tatasky since more than 1 year now... My ID No. [protected]

I am getting "No Signal" daily from 0600 Hrs to 2200 Hrs possibly because of improper disc antenna setting or due to consistent rains during last 15 days.
I have complained several times ( nearly 20 times on phone and through mail) but the problem still persists, Call centre just register the complaint and forget to send the service engineer to correct the problem. There could be possible signal problem and since you have been experiencing consistent rains during last 15 days the dish antenna might require adjustment to receive optimum signals. I recommend you to contact them but also note that technician visit will be charged. The technician can adjust the cable pointing or enable or force range which helps to improves the reception in case it is a signal issue or else identify the exact cause of no signal error. Since the troubleshooting could not be resolved on call I personally think there is a need for technician to visit and look into the matter he will identify the area where the issue lies and will be able to resolve it but at the end its up to you whether you want to pay for the technician.
TataSky is not providing the services they are charging for. After lodging several complaints that I am not receiiving signal on most Financial Channels for last two weeks. Nothing is done and worst of all no response except Auto Response. People should check out before they put any money on TataSky for their BAD SERVICE.
