[Resolved]  Tata Sky — POOR SERVICE SUPPORT

I am writing this just highlight the sorry state of affair of Tata Sky services in Thane(W). Your call centre people or local service support office hardly providing any services to the consumers. My connection is not working properly since 08-Aug-10. I have made repeated requests, written e-mails, called n no of people at your call centre but there is no response and your local office is not ready to attend it.
And to my surprise today I received a SMS(form [protected]) that my complaint has been attended and closed, where as nobody has visited to attend and problem still persists.

Further to my mail below, finally one service engineer visited on 17-Aug-10 and resumed the connection.
Now my connection is connected with dish of my upstairs’ neighbours. Now my Tata sky works only when their digicom is switched on.
Again on 18-Aug-10 I contacted your call centre spoke to one Ms Sushma my complaint was registered (no 1-[protected]) with same tall claims of providing service in next 24 hrs. But till today i.e. 20-Aug-10 (21.00 hrs) nobody has turned up.
If you cannot provide service kindly discontinue my connection.

This is further to my mail dated 11-Aug-10. I am again sending the date & event diary for the
# On 8-Aug-10 complaint lodged for no signal. Got the assurance that it will be attended in next 24 hrs. But nobody turned up for next 48 hrs.
# Again I contacted on 10-Aug-10 and there was the same standard reply that ‘will attend it within next 24 hrs’.
# Again I contacted on 11-Aug-10 call centre at 17.00 hrs, and I was assured that at least I will get a call from some higher up in next 4 hrs. Nobody contacted even in next 24 hrs.
# On 12-Aug-10 got a contact with one of your service engineer (Mob. No.[protected]), but he said because of personal reasons he can not come but will send somebody from his office. But again nobody turned up. Again called on your helpline no. and with the Mersey of TATA SKY I was connected to one SENIOR of your call centre “Mr. SAGAR”. He again assured that I will get a call in next 4 hrs. But as usual again there was no call back.
# Again I contacted on 13-Aug-10 at 17.00 hrs, spoke one Mr. RAHUL and repeated the whole story, also requested him to connect me to MR. SAGAR, he checked and refused to do so, but assured that my complaint will be attended in next 24 hrs and also I will get a phone call in next 4 hrs.
Guess “Did I receive a call ? Answer is very simple “NO”.
# Finally on 14-Aug-10 with great Mersey of God and Tata Sky, one service engineer came. He worked in his own style. Wire was broken from one or two points. We asked him to replace the wire ( I am ready to pay for this ). But without listening he went on putting the multiple joints. Resulted in solving the problem but with poor quality of signal. But still I was thankful to TATA sky for solving the problem.
# Now to my surprise today on 15-Aug-10, the problem is back to square one. Again the link has broken, there is no signal, again TATA SKY is not working.
I am feared of going through the same pain for one full week again to contact and get the problem solved and that too just for few hrs.
My question is :
(1) Is this the way of working of Tata sky?
(2) Is this the standard of service support of Tata Sky?
(3) Is this the attitude of Tata sky call centre people, service engineers and above all the SENIORs?
(4) Is there anybody in this whole organisation who is really concerned about customer care?

Its better to get rid of Tata sky and disconnect the connection for ever.
Kindly look in this matter seriously.

We shifted to new location about 25 KM away from the earlier location.
We requested for reinstallation of the disc and service at Kottur on 12th Nov 2010. Promptly a SMS was received saying the call would be attended on 13th at 1320 Hrs.
We were glad and immediately arranged to shift the Disc and modem urgently and waited for the mechanic to arrive.
Nobody came.So on 13th we contacted the call centre when they clarified that it would be on 15th.
!5th passed.16th to 24th also passed.we were contacting the call centre almost dailt two times when they said SORRY for the inconvenience and promised it would be attended the NEXT day.

We are still waiting for the NEXT DAY .
Only solacxe is that they promised that the period will be given additional to the available days.
