[Resolved]  Tata Sky TV — No proper service

I didnt recharge my Tata Sky TV for 2 months as i was out of country. when i am back i just wanted to ercharge. but saw that there is no signal coming to my receiver. so after a great struggle i called Tata SKY customer care and reached mr. rajesh (from ccs). He reached my ID through my mobile number then he said some steps to repair the problem. but didnt work. As there is no signal coming. He then asked me to recharge my ID number as they will cut 350 rs for a visit of an engineer. I asked why shoul i pay a default of Tata sky which i am suffernig. he replied after 1 year warranty ends and customers should pay for these visits of engineers. It was an amazing conversations with this gentleman from Tata sky while i was insisting him why do i pay of a visit of an engineer in my own even we dont know what is the problem. then he cut the phone. i hope it was recorded and any other executive will see this rude service! to a customer. and i suggest my delhi collleagues to not to gp for Tata sky tv services as they will suffer. I will stop using Tata sky services and will buy immediately an another service provider.

I know someone who faced similar problem and the following step may help you out there is a service offered by Tata Sky which is called Temporary suspension - in which subscribers can suspend their viewing services temporarily for a minimum period of a month and a maximum period of three months. You should check whether your account status is active or not it is mostly recommended to go for Temporary suspension on such occasions (vacation, travel, exams etc). The customercare will try their best to resolve the case on call itself because technician visit also cost the Co. alongwith the subscriber as most of the technicians are third party. Under AMC tech visit is covered and so for the first year warranty period tech visit is for free but after that charges will be applied and this is applicable to all the DTH providers. If your account is inactive they can definitely set it up from their end you will only have to subscribe to a pack of your choice and there will also not be any need for a tech visit.
