[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Unnecessary deduction in Recharged Amount

Hi ,

I had bought the TATA SKY connection in January. the Sales executive from TATA Sky informed me that I need to pay Rs.2939/- only that will include the installation charges for 2 TV, 2 set top box and it will also include 1 month of subscription of Rs. 360 for both the TVs. on 28th Jan 2013 the installation engineer came and installed the TATA Sky an informed me that the total cable used is 42 m out of which 20 mtr is provided by the company free of cost for 2 TV. so it means i need to pay for 22m of wire.

On 30th JAn 2013 I received a message from Customer care that I need to recharge my connection due to low balance. On the same day I made a monthly recharge of 414 Rs (Grand Super Sports Pack). then again I received a message that my subscription will expire on 8th Feb 2013. Ideally it should expire after 1 month.

In this context i contacted customer care on 2nd Feb 2013, and the executive told me tht 110m of extra wire is used so we have deducted the 500rs from your recharge value. I asked the executive how is possible that 110m of wire can be used. She raised a complaint and i recived call from 3 engineers on 3rd Feb 2013. the installation guy named gaurav confirmed me that 42m wire is used at my place. Then another engineer called me and told me that 70m wire is used so we have deducted 500 rs. I asked all of them to come at my place and measure the wire and update me and in the workorder of TATA Sky that correct amount of wire used. they confirmed me that they will come on 4th feb 2013 at 5PM. But nobody turned up.

Regarding this when I again made a call to customer care to inquire by when the engineer will come then he gave me another reason for deduction of amount that these are the installation charges for the second TV. I told him that your sales executive took Rs. 2939 from me in form of cheque and said that this includes installation charges and 1 month subscription charges for both the TV then he said that then you can contact that sales executive and don't ask us.

I request you to please take this complaint on TOP priority as they engineers from TATA Sy are not able to resolve it and give me the exact reason for deduction of amount.

TataSky — Deduction of amount

I have already complained to Tatasky custmor care regarding deduction my amount from my account. i had 200 Rs balance then i have decided to take one Life style gold pack on charge of 30 Rs/Month. and but not yet completed one month also and they have deducted my 195 Rs and at present my account balance is 5 Rs.
Even though they have told me that our headquaters persone will talk to you but still nobody called me otherwise notyet solved my problem

Tata Sky — Un necessary charges imposed

Complaint - I would hereby like to "complaint" about the Tata Sky connection Service.

I have taken connection since last 6 months. Due to some Contruction-Work in the house i was not using the connection since last 3 months.

Today i have called the technician from TataSky to do the necessary repair for the Signal-Issue to make it working again. They have done the software reset and it is working now. He has also replaced the STB connector(costing 10Rs)

The problem is - the technician has told me that this will be charged on my account for Rs350 - which is not justified.

Please look into this and let me know - why changing a small connector would be charged on me for Rs 350.

Also let me know the complaint number.

Mr. Manjeet Singh,
Since you are in the warranty period charges should not be implied to the STB but since there has been a upgrade in software and an external component as a connector has been added to the STB there might be minimal charges connect to CC to find dretails of technician visit.
