[Resolved]  The Mobile Store — Purchase not converted to EMI as per Bill receipt: Refund requested

I had purchased Nokia Lumia 800 on 13.6.12 from the MOBILE Store located at Alfa one Mall - Hypercity Ahmedabad.

1. I was committed by the Mobile store representative that if purchased via using SBI credit card, the amount of the mobile i.e. Rs. 23788 can be paid by me via 9 equal EMI's without any interest i.e 0%. Also it was communicated to me that my total amount of the mobile will not be blocked from my available credit card limit but only the EMI amount would be blocked every month from my credit card limit.

2. Based on the above commitment made by the store representative, I had purchased the mobile i.e Nokial Lumia 800. The receipt of the same also confirmed about the statement made by the store representative about 9 equal EMI's with 0% interest.

3. To my surprise on seeing the unbilled transactions of my SBI card, I found that total amount i.e Rs. 23788 was deducted from my account instead of the EMI.

4. I contacted the store from were the purchase was made and they assured that it takes maximum 72 hrs to get reflected in my credit card account. But unfortunately it did not get reflected in my account. On again contacting the store representative, once again assurance was given that the changes would be seen within 24 hrs. But again the assurance given failed.

5. I then contacted my SBI customer care, to my surprise they informed me that the deal with Mobile store for EMI at 0% interest was valid till 31.5.12 only and the slip given to me was a fraud slip.

6. I informed the same to the Mobile store representative and expressed my concern about the EMI's since my statement was to be generated on 23.6.12. But once again only assurance was given by the store representative.

7. I then registered a complain with the MOBILE Store Customer Care on[protected] and expressed my concern about the purchase not getting converted to EMI. I was given the complain number MSC[protected]. The customer care representative assured that before the statement is generated by the bank the changes of purchase getting converted to EMI would be done.

8. Unfortunately again only assurances were given by the Mobile Store, my credit card statement was generated and it showed the full amount.

9. I had again contacted the store and once again they tried to give me false assurance.

10. I had asked for the refund from the Mobile store via customer care (complain number is MSC[protected] & MSC[protected] but still there is no response.

I would request to kindly help me with the matter and get my money refunded.
