I have bought 2 tickets to IPL match, 16 mar 2010 held in Bangalore on 27Feb2010. But till today, I haven't received the tickets. Sent mails to ticket genie folks, no reply. Have put a post to the chairman in IPL site, still no reply. These guys should be sued. Fraud company ticketgenie.

Yes they are big time frauds... Even I have not received my tickets for 16th... no one seems to reply to mails and phones are not operational... This company should be sued... Please help

I too booked on website and gave the courier option fearing the problem for redemption. But since i didnt get the tickets, i decided to go to the redemption center (at kolkata its mohammedan sporting club). There to my surprise, we found many of the couriered tickets lying with the counter guy. So just submit some photo id copy and get your tickets...

We had come to know that the courier agency is not participating actively and the website is getting a bad name. I was told that the ticketgenie is a very big ticket selling website...

I have booked tickets for 20th March match in mumbai. So would we get tickets by going to brabroune stadium? I stay outside mumbai so would i will be able to get ticket on match day? All who have already gone to match, please share your experience.

After lot of perseverence and threatening ticketgenie people on mail (phone never picked) to move the case into consumer courts they relented and gave us the tickets. But there is certain something fishy in their dealings.I shall recommend not to buy tickets from them.
finally got the ticket 1 day before. i live in greater noida 30 km away from noida. i was told that u need to pickup ur tickets at noida sec-16 bluedart branch. when i asked why they did not inform me of courier number by email or SMS, reply was "we do bulk emails and SMS it might miss sometime". ha ha

On Feb 27, 2010, I purchased tickets from the ticketgenie website for the IPL match on March 27th to be held at Bangalore. However, I received an email from Ticketgenie on March 12th saying the match was advanced to March 24th due to BBMP elections and we can opt for refund of tickets (to be done withint 7 days of receiving an email request) or go to the match on 24th.
I sent them a request for redemption on March 15th. I did not get any acknowledgement. I re-sent the email on March 16th, explicitly asking for an acknowledgement for my email. I did not egt any response from them. Since then, I have escalated this to their grievance cell ans heard no response form them also.
On March 17th, I was lucky enough to get some one on the phone at the call center who started noting down the details of my booking. She said that she will pass this on to her customer care. I told her that I had already sent the email with all etails pertaining to the refund and why was she asking me questions as if the email was not received. She reassured me that the refund will happen in 15 days. My worry is this - 15 days will be over on Wednesday and the match is due on Thursday. Any suggestions on who I can meet in person for this refund? - Ticket Genie office? Chinnaswamy Stadium?

I agree. i had booked tickets for 27th Match RC vs DD which has been pre-poned to 24th March. I have been mailing and trying to contact Ticket genie on the number they provided on the website, and it is never reachable. The sad part is they recently send out a large mail chain to a bunch of people stating that the match has been moved to another date.
They never mentioned when they will refund the money and the refund procedure. How do they refund the money after the match is over. Its sad that ticktgenie is very disorganized.

I have booked two tickets for Rs 1200/- each on 15th Feb'2010 for the IPL match on 1st Apr'10 at Kolkata and the order no given to me was 22164, I have sent several emails but I was responded only once stating "Thank you for contacting www.ticketgenie.in . For the courier option you will get the tickets 3 days before the event. Once the courier gets dispatched we will provide you the airway bill number to track your courier".
Today is 30th March and I have not yet received the tickets nor the courier information, their landline nos are not at all reachable, request your help to sort out the issue. My Mobile no. is[protected].

log' on the website where I could find the details as under:

I have also confirmed with the bank that the transaction has been cleared. Hence couldn't find the

I also tried to contact on both the phone nos( Tel: +[protected] and +[protected] published on ur website but was unable to get through due to network congestion.
I request you to look into the matter and kindly arrange for the tickets at the earliest or make a
refund of the said amt.

I booked a ticket for a mach which was suposed to happen on April 8 in banagalore. I didnt get my ticket and i conatcted some one from ticket genie and he told that the ticket got cancelled and the money will be credited within two weeks and till now i have no update on this. Call is not going to ur hotline number at all, this is pakka cheating in day light. I will move to court if there is no response from you.

I had booked 2 IPL tickets through ticketgenie.in website (which is supposed to be the official website for online IPL ticket booking). The tickets were booked on 21st Feb 2010. However, I have still not received the delivery of the ticket. The consumer hotline number published on their website are not operational.
Please help in getting delivery of my tickets.
