I subscribed for Times of India on 27 August 2008. This was done in their door-to-door campaign . The guy took the Cheque. The paper was to be delivered starting 01-Sept-2008 morning. I have not been delivered the paper and the customer number they gave is false or another number he gave says wait for 72 hours, and didn't even gave me the complaint number. The guy who came for the subscription named Satyarth, also talked to the supervisor named Amit. I'm not sure how Times of India is planning to grow in number in this city with this kind of customer service. BAD START already, it can only become worser.

Times Of India — subscription problem

I live in paschim vihar, west Delhi and for past few years i have subscription of "Time of India". the field person who distribute the newspaper around the area charges more than the amount printed on the newspaper. Like if its Rs 2.50 for Tuesday, he charges Rs 3.00, 50 paisa extra for each day. Also he charges Rs 5 extra every month as service charge.
And when we try to talk with him & ask him to justify the charge.. he start talking rubbish and tells that if we want to continue the service, pay whatever he is asking otherwise we wont get newspaper from anyone if we try to unsubscribe from him.
I think Times of India is responsible for this by not keeping any check on these people.
Also i don't know where to complaint about the same other than here

I am a subscriber to your daily( Kolkata edition). My subscription expires on Oct'08. How do I renew my subscription? My mob no. is [protected]. Please get an agent to call me as soon as possible.

I also have been cheated by the times of india having taken the one year payment and they did not supply in betwwen for one whole month and after reedming the supply is very ireguler if the times cannot manage why do they offer suchschemes and cheat the public the discount they offer they cover much more then that in short supplies I only request times to send me A donation slip of the balance amount and save me form the agony of filling cheated very often my recipt no 200422

Times Of India — News Paper Not Received

I am sudheer resident of KPHB, Hyderabad. Couple of months back I was forced to opt for 1 year subscription of the news paper by paying 350/-. Till date I did not receive paper on single day. Times of India had choosen more sophisticated way of cheating the people. Shame on you Times of India!

Times Of India NewsPaper — Newspaper not received

I subscribed for the Times of India newspaper through the special subscription scheme of Rs. 175/- for six months. The subscription was to start from 2 December 2008. Till date the newspaper has not been received. The subscription agent, Mr John Wesley, I believe is a fake guy with the mobile number [protected]. This number is never available. I stay at Madhapur, Hyderabad. I urge to all the people reading this complaint to be careful of these fake agents. Also, please verify the identity of these agents from the newspaper office, if possible. I admit, however, that only I am to be blamed for this; for having taken the subscription at the first place and not having verified his identity.

Times Of India — Not received newspaper

I have subscribed for the annual offer with concend NO: 27296 and 30021 dt: 1/12/2008. We are supposed to get the news paper from the first of Jan 2009. But, we have started receiving the news paper from 10th Jan 2009. Today i.e 16th April 2009 we have not recieved the news paper. I request you to ensure that i recieve daily the newspaper.

I Mr. Sourav dasgupta a subscription holder of the Times of India is facing a problem due to one of the Times of India representative named Ali khan.

I have renewed my subscription and take one year subscription for The Times of India on 15th dec 08 for a period 1st of Jan to till 31st dec 09 for this I have received only the subscription order form cum receipt not the month wise coupon at that time your representative told that he will give it by next week, but till date I have not received it. Now vendor is claiming the coupons from where do I give him the coupons? Why should face this type of harassment only because of your employee
.
It is not possible for me to go to the office of Times of India to discuss this type of small things and that is also for Rs200 only.

I live in Sahar Andheri (East), Mumbai. Last year my news paper vendor approached for 6 monthly subscription of TOI with two optional paper @ Rs.500/- for six month - I have selected Mumbai Mirror and Nav Bharat Times. In last renewal my news paper vendor scraped Mumbai Mirror from subscription and increased subscription charge by Rs.200/- Now my next renewal is in Sept.2009. but news paper vendor says subscription scheme is closed.

Can you please check and confirm about this and any advise to take further action by me.

Myself Samir & my friend saroj are facing the same problem.Somedays before someone came to our home & introduce himself as a agent of times of india & took Rs 250 from each and give bill.
But we are not reciving any single paper till now.I informed this issue to times of india office.But result was zero.I think some employes are with them.

Of Late the service is bad. often the paper does not come . It is sick following up with the customer care. They say, the customer care will operate betwwn 8 am to 7 p.m. even at 10.30 in the morning the phones are not answered and at 6 p.m itself the customer care clsoe the shop???

I have some quaries regurding the renewal of subscription of TOI. Can any one help me by giving the Customar care number of TOI. plz SMS or call me to my Mobile.

I am residing in Besant Nagar persuing management studies in a reputed B School... Have been receiving the Times of India daily News paper since past few months upon yearly subscription... For the past one months, either I am not receiving Paper or receiving by mid noon...Same have been taken to the knowledge of Times of India's representative and no action of regularisation has been taken yet. The TImes of India — paid whole year subscription but not delivered

I had subscribed The Times of India through Cheque No. 852241 dated 13.2.11, state bank of India to Mr. ,Thiyagarajan RRE Code:CR1759 . Depot Code:03183 and Dealer's name: R.Manogar Dealer Code: 20436798 . I had received the papers from 14.4.11 to 5.6.11 . I called Mr.Thigarajan and complained to him but no steps have been taken so far. Even last year the paper was supplied only for 4 months. Kindly probe into this matter and solve it.
