I am writing to address an unfortunate incident related to a yearly subscription of The Times of India (TOI) that I recently availed. I received a call from a person claiming to be a management trainee named Mr. Abhishek (contact number: [protected]) on behalf of TOI. He offered enticing discount coupons for the yearly subscription, and trusting the authenticity of the call, I made the payment of Rs. 699/-. He assured me that the discount coupons would be promptly delivered to my home.
However, since making the payment, I have been unable to reach Mr. Abhishek as he is not responding to my calls or messages. Furthermore, I reported the issue to another individual named Mr. Naveen (contact number: [protected]), who also confirmed the delivery of the discount coupons but, unfortunately, they have not arrived.
Regrettably, this experience has left me deeply dissatisfied and concerned about the legitimacy of such sales practices. I hereby request an immediate refund of the payment made for the TOI yearly subscription. I no longer wish to proceed with the subscription and prefer not to be associated with TOI under these circumstances.
I sincerely urge your esteemed organization to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate actions to prevent the recurrence of such incidents. It is crucial to maintain the trust of loyal customers like myself and ensure that unscrupulous practices do not tarnish TOI's reputation.
I kindly request a prompt resolution to this issue, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could process the refund at the earliest. Your understanding and cooperation in resolving this matter are highly appreciated.
