[Resolved]  Times Of India Pune Edition — Discrimination

Dear Sir,
Iam regular reader of TOI since 1980. Earlier we used to get TOI Mumbai edition in my city (Kolhapur).
The quality of paper was good till they started Pune edition. Both quality and quantity (no. of pages) is diminished. We are not getting value for money. The news are stale, any coverage after 10 P.M is covered after 3 days (that is today’s any event after 10 P.M is published in the news paper of day after tomorrow). Sometimes the articles are repeated.
Last week I had been to Pune. I brought 31/07 2009 paper containing 26 pages for Rs. 2 and 01/08/2009 paper containing 34 pages for Rs. 3. Please not that 31/07/2009 paper in Kolhapur consisted of 14 pages for Rs. 2 and 01/08/2009 paper in Kolhapur consisted of 14 pages for RS. 3!!!
So why discrimination between places from such reputed newspaper group? They are trying fool people of smaller cities or trying to fool themselves?
If Iam correct since two weeks they stopped giving even magazine sections in Sunday times!
I am planning to stop buying their paper.

The TImes of India — Regarding pune edition

Sir,
I was a regular reader o TOI pune edition, But since last two weeks the PUNE EDITION has been removed from the list of E-paper . I am not getting why it has happened ?????????
kindly consider this matter .

This is nothing new. This is an old game they play. Kolkata edition on Sunday includes Calcutta Times and Times Life supplements and costs Rs 4.50, whereas a Rest of West Bengal (they call *Kolkata edition) edition does not include any supplement ( much lesser pages) and costs Rs 5.00

not receiving newspaper.

scheme of 1 yr of times of india and maharashtra times started from 1 nov 2013.from that day i am not receiving paper regularly.now from 8th april 2014 paper has been stopped.
