[Resolved]  Torrent Power Agra — improper power supply and then asking minimum usage of electricity units

at the cost of maintaince they are cutting power supply for 3-4 hrs on an average every day.


i am having a manufacturing unit and connection of 30 hp . the power cuts are usually during working hrs. more then 2-3 hrs per days, and after that the company is sending the bill for the minimum usage .

jst tel me how can i use my units to minimum level when there is no power supply during working hr.

the condition has worsen since the arrival of torrent power

we are mostly running our industry on generators, which is increasing our cost of production

the cstomer care is neother giving email id of senior official and nor doing soemhting in this regard , so that we can meet them and look fior some solution

complaint redressal system of torrent Agra is very poor. There four hour dead line is never met.
Today also I have lodged my complaint for connection No..311671. What action can be taken for there non response.

si i belongs to mahua khera region and our light station is bhamarauli katara in my village electricity went dead for 3 to 4 hours and some times for full day so i am so requested to you to solve this problem

Dear Sir,

SUB: DELAY IN GETTING NEW CONNECTION, 8 HEERABAGH, DAYALBAGH, AGRA-282005

Refer to new connection No: 11/New/123780 dated 04 Jun 2011.

It is with deep regret that I bring to your kind notice severe delay in getting new connection at 8 Heerabagh, Dayalbagh Agra-282005. Despite several reminders and personal meeting with Mr Vimarsh Panditah and Mr Sumit Gupta GM, the situation has remained the same.

The survey for new connection was done on 17 Jun 2011 and after that there was no response from Torrent Office. Consequently, I sent reminders and personally met the above officers, the last meeting being on 06 Jul 2011 with Mr Sumit Gupta GM. He promised me that the details of the expenditure incurred in laying the cable will be given to me by 07 Jul 2011. However, to my utter surprise, instead of expenditure being sent by email, I was asked to submit the certificate from the builder stating that the builder will bear all the expenditure for laying the cable. It is not possible for us to contact the builder to get the certificate. I feel this is only the way of delaying in giving the new connection.

Moreover, the nine flats at 10 Heerbagh, Dayalbagh, Agra have been given the direct connections from the existing pole. I failed to understand why the six flat owners of 8 Heerabagh are being denied the direct connection. More than one month has passed since the time I applied for the connection; still there is no certainty of getting the connection.

In view of the above it is requested that the connection may be given at the earliest.

01) REGULAR POWER CUT WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION...WHY?
02) WHY YOU DEMAND CONTACT NO IN APPLICATION FORM WHILE THERE NO USE OF THAT ? IT COULD BE POSSIBLE TO PASS SMS TO ALL THE CUSTOMERS BEFORE POWER CUT...
03) WHY ARE YOU SHOWING YOUR SUBSTATION'S NO TO THE CUSTOMERS WHILE STATION INCHARGE NOT PICK THE PHONE OR CUT THE PHONES ... WHY ? (LIKE :- T P NAGAR)
04) IF THEY PICKED THE PH, THEN THEY SAYS WAIT FOR 10 TO 15 MIN...BUT CURRENT COMES AFTER A HOUR..WHY ?
05) IF THERE IS THIS KIND OF ANY TIME POWER CUT THEN WHY NEED OF TORRENT ?
06) TORRENT HAVE PASSED APPROXIMATELY 16 MONTHS THEN WHY YOU ARE NOT HAVING PROPER TIME TABLE OF POWER SUPPLY/POWER CUT ?
07) IF ANY AREAS TRANSFORMER IS GOING TO CHANGE THEN WHY OTHER AREA CLIENTS SUFFER FOR POWER CUT AT THEIR AREA ?
08) WHILE YOU ARE CUTTING POWER FOR 30 HOURS IN A MONTH THEN WHY DON'T YOU REDUCE THE BILLED AMOUNT OF THE CUSTOMER FOR ONE DAY. BECAUSE CUSTOMER PAYING FOR ALL 365 DAYS TO YOU AND MANAGING INVERTER WHILE POWER CUT.

you have passed 500 days but till date you are not having proper planning, timetable, technical and managerial staff, please answer what did you do about these 500 days ?
have you any point or work so that you can says that we did this 100% ?

I copmlaint on 1/9/2012 of two phase missing on 11.26 am
And said that my unit open from 10 am to 6.30pm.
The lineman calls on 10 pm night .I said him come tomorrow
Between 10am to 6.30 pm but they didn't come next day 2/9/12
And lineman calls me on midnight 0.30 hrs .I said come tomorrow
between. 10.30 am to 6.30 Pm. But they didn't come again they called

I am your bill paid 3 Killo Watt continues 3 months but my connecton is 1 killo watt and my load too be less then 1 killo watt. but my meter no rectified by torrent power department while i am many times go to customer care, Ram Nagar, Agra. He says to me that your meter automatic rectify next month and no satisfy answer gave to me.
Sir, My torrent power Agra connection No. is 163020 . My first complaint is that no one picks up phone on your complaint phone no. 2424554, this I am observing for last few months, earlier the use to take complains and used to be polite .
We have three phase connection, There is no current in one phase, in second phase there is fluctuation every 15 second, only one phase is working properly . Equipments are not working properly. This problem is in nearby houses also . Street light is also fluctuating same way Perhaps problem is at nearby transformer(named as chandna nursing home . Since no body is attending phone of complaint office .I am writing this online .

I have cleared all my dues related to disconnection of light on 26th itself. I was told that max within 48 hours meter will be installed, but still nothing was done.
My mother alone age:-59 is residing in the house,
Now it is quiet difficult for her from last 2 days.

Torrent Power co has Down its electricity between 8.30pm to 10.30 pm at Avadhpuri Feeder. The company is doing this most of the day. Whether the company is not having sufficient power. If not then it should surrender the freinchise to govt. My service no. is 404187. Why company is doing this at evening?
the best solution is Solar no a days to give them a suitable reply..Go solar..any load can be run on solar.
