[Resolved]  Triveni Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. — Cheque Bounce

Hi,

I have booked a Flat in Triveni's Faridabad Project in Sec-78 but due to not implementing project i asked for cancellation and got Post Dated Cheques in the month of August, 2008 with the effective date as 15th January, 2009. When i presented the cheque on 15th January, it bounced with the reason as "ACCOUNT BLOCKED"

I contacted Builder and he is saying that there is Income-Tax Raid and they blocked our account and when it will be unblocked then only he can make payment and there is no end date for unblock of account.

What is the solution in this regard?

I also want to join the group to file legal case againt the recovery of booking amount paid for faridabad project, only first cheque was cleared and no subsequent cheque has been cleared because of the reason "Account Blocked". Rajendra Chauhan. [protected]

I too booked a flat in sector 78 in 2007 but the project is far from completion. I have already paid aproxs Rs.1100, 000/- ( withdrawing from my entire saving of GPF and taking loan from PNB. We must fight this type of corrupt practices by the builder mafia.

Has anyone filed cheque bouncing case under sec 138 ( N.I Act) against the builder. What has been success so far.

Is there any case registered against the builders in Delhi High Court?
i have bought villa in vrindawan for Rs.1500000 (rupees fifteen lac ) in my case no response i don't know what to do.
i think government should have strict guidlines so that builder should not fooling around people.

I have also invested in the triveni heights projects aprrox 10 lakhs.
after lot of fights in the nehruplace office these guys gave me refund promise in the form of post dated checqs..but now when i have deposited the first pdc it has bouced..lets unite and do some action against them.

Happy to get the settlement... was in a very bad situation in front of my sister's in-laws. thanksfully god helped me to get out of situation. Thanks to Mr. Kapoor and Mr. Jain. But sir is there any hope to get the allotment??? Though I have got the amount but many of our dreams were attached to own property. Coz the money which we received is just equivalent if we should have put it to mutual fund or bank. But property prices have increase like anything from the day we invested in Triveni Infrastructure. God bless you all. Friends I had confidence that the money was my sweat and one day I would get it.
Hey my friends had booked 2 bhk flat in sec-89. now company giving assurance. It is further stated by Mr. Rohatgi, learned senior counsel on behalf of the petitioner that in order to facilitate the working of the projects which were floated by the company of which the petitioners are directors, the company has appointed a committee of three representatives each from the flat allottees in the different towers at the Faridabad complex and a representative of the company to monitor the finance; coordination between the company and the flat allottees and progress and quality of the construction at site.
if they say they have no money, then they must mean it
we should all just be patient and not take harsh steps
Is there anyone who booked the PLOT with Triveni in their Faridabad scheme, same in Sector - 78, 89 ? It seems that Triveni took the plot booking amount to use in flat construction, but later they didn't even constructed the flats.

Is that deposit (given for Plot) also covered in any kind of high court case against Triveni, by selling its assets to refund the depositor's amount?

Dear Guys,

This is what can be done in this situation. File a complaint in the Consumer Forum. If the amount of claim/refund is below Rs 20 Lakhs, the complaint will be filed at the District Consumer Forum, where their (Triveni) office is situated, if the amount is above Rs 20 Lakhs but below Rs 1 Cr. then it will be filed before the State consumer forum and if it is above 1 cr then in the National Consumer Forum.

There are leading judgements against the builders where you can get 18% to 24% of interest against the money which was paid by you to purchase that flat/accommodation.
