[Resolved] Uninor / Idea / Trai — MNP Issue | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, I have taken an IDEA Sim sometime back and have ported the same to Uninor. Due to very pathetic network services from Uninor I again tried to port it to IDEA as its network is very good. I smsed at 1901 to port it to Idea on[protected] at around 9.55 pm. I got the reply on the same day at 9.57 pm stating "Dear Customer, the Unique porting Code for your number [protected] is UM142614. This code is valid till 07/11/2011 21:57. Thank you". As on today i.e. on[protected], when I enquired about my status I came to know that my porting has been rejected due to non-completion of 90 days o[censored]ninor. First of all I want to know that why can't TRAI set a regulation where if a customer has not completed 90 days, his/her request for porting would not have been accepted when he smses 1901 at that point itself. Why cant we set a validation of 90 Days if you have such rules in place. Secondly, Why did IDEA took so long to revert or process the porting request. Legally its 7 days TAT, but its around 20 days and then I came to know my status. I want a justification of the delay by IDEA and resolution by TRAI to tackle such issue in future.
