[Resolved] United India Insurance Co — Deficiency in service | |
I have been a Mediclaim policy holder o[censored]nited Indian Insurance Company for many years. The company was providing satisfactory service until MDIndia Healthcare Services (TPA) Pvt. Ltd.,started handling its affairs. I underwent eye surgery at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, on July 6, 2011. MDIndia never responded to mails sent before the surgery. After the surgery 10 bills were sent for reimbursement. MDIndia did not act until at my request United India took up the matter with them. When the payment arrived, I noticed that only one bill was processed. I drew the attention of both United India and MDIndia about the remaining nine bills.
