Sub: Videocon Washing Machine - VNA 55FDX - replacement of PCB - J ob No. Hyd. [protected], dt. 15.3.2009 and Hyd. [protected], dt. Jan. 2009 and Hyd. [protected], dt. 7.2.2009 - reg-. **** I had purchased the above washing machine on 3.3.2003. Right from day one, the machine was not working properly, with some problem or other cropping up periodically. 2. The latest problem started in Jan. 2009 which was diagnosed as problem with PCB and the same was replaced on 21.1.2009 (vide Job No.Hyd. [protected]) with 6 months warranty. A copy of invoice No. 3452 is enclosed. 3. However, the problem returned with PCB stopped working. I had to contact your service centre again on 7.2.2009 and the PCB was replaced with an old one by your dealer. Even this did not work even for a week. The PCB stopped working. 4. I had to again approach service centre on 15.3.2009 vide Job. No. [protected]. Your representative from service centre at Malakpet, Hyderabad has come, inspected, and confirmed that the PCB needs to be replaced and promised to do so within a week. The same was not replaced so far. 5. It appears that the Videocon Washing Machine - VNA 55FDX is discontinued. Hence, PCB is not being supplied by the company. It is more than 65 days and none from the company, could say when the PCB would be replaced. Even if the model is discontinued, the machine needs to be serviced efficiently by the company. But there has been no response so far. Was this information helpful? | |

Videocon Washing Machine — Old Machine supplied
I bought on down cash a Videocon fully automatic washing machine on Diwali day 17th Oct 2009 from Yash Electronics, Airoli, New Bombay. The order was placed after inspecting a machine exhibited at the showroom, but I specifically told them not to deliver that machine and want a new untouched (sealed pack) machine. But to my suprprise, the same machine with full of scratches and dirty knobs and old look machine was supplied to me. In good faith I acknowledged receipt of the delivery challan.
When asked for the warranty card the dealer said I will have to collect from them after one week. When I requested them to replace with another machine, they did not do so. This is an absolute breach of trust, breach of contract case.
If anyone can help me in this matter, it is most welcome.
