non responcive customer care, unreasonable charges

I availed the facility of Videocon Group Authorized Service Centre to service my Kelvinator Refrigerator Model No. 286 Master Piece, Serial No. 100142, for not cooling vide complaint number DEL [protected].
The service engineer visited and diagnosed, chocked capillary and took the machine to the centre for Capillary replacement, Gas filling and thermostat change.
When the machine returned and put on service we noticed there...

I had purchased a fridge on 7th May '08 and there was a gas leakage in it on 30th April '09, i launched a complaint on 1st May '09 and from then I am waiting for there person to come for repairing and now when I call them they say the warranty is expired on 7th May '09 and we cannot repair it. My complaint No Is PUN[protected]. Kindly do anything if you can.

I had given a complaint to you through the same web site about 15 days back that my Videocon Refrigerator was not working. Your technician had come to my home after 5 days for the above complaint and informed me that my Refrigerator’s compressor is to be replaced it is under warranty period, hence you will have to pay Rs.1200/- that is gas filling etc. charges.

But more that 10 day has been lapsed he did not feel to attend the repairs or at least not contacted on phone to explain the reason for the delay.

I was thinking that your company is a very famous company so it will provide nice services after sales also. But now I am forced to think that it was fateful day when I had decided to purchase your Refrigerator.

Videocon Refrigerator — Improper looks and unsatisfactory performance

I purchased a Videocon referigator 220 litres no.VIDREF 5220WDOX DGR899 in March 2007 per replacement of my old and trusted Voltas 165 L referigator bought in 1994 from Ghaziabad UP. From the very beginning I found that the looks of the fridge were not OK as the door had a polythene covering which was shabily visible along with its handle thought to be of stainless gave out to be of white plastic.
Performance wise also this was not comparable with the old Voltas fridge as it did not gave matching cooling. These days ice is not forming and milk parish daily. Furthermore the contact telephone nos. are non-existant. This is a grievous complaint.

My Refrigerator is not working properly. It is not cooling properly.

On 15 th jun 2008 I purchased Videocon refrigerator from M/s NEXT show room, sarada lane, Ahmendagar.

I am facing following problems in my refrigerator

1 Gap ( 1 fits minimum ) between door gasket & refrigerator body

2 Heavy noise & also vibration noise.

On the day of installation I had shown the above problems & I refused to take the refrigerator delivery, but show- room people request me to take the delivery & they will replace the door & if not rectified we will replace your refrigerator. After that same complaint was attended for 3-4 times by your service person. On 31 may 08 your service person came to attained my complaint but unable to repair, hence he forward my complaint to you for replacement of door.
As per your service person above problems are regular problem or design problems, so it not possible correct it 100 % ok. If it is not possible you to solve my problems please refund my money back ( Rs 7000.00)

I have purchased Refrigerator before 3 years. In some days I have facing some problem regarding cooling & inside door is break. so I have lodge the complaint on Toll Free Number[protected] for repairing the regrigerator. The company created this type of web site to collect complaint from the customer deliberately to deceive the customers. After sending a mail through this web site, there will not be any prove with customer that he had sent an e-mail to the company.

Videocon Refrigerator — Over Sound

. Ours is a reputed beach resort in Kerala.We have purchased 24 videocon mini Refrigarator for our cottages, from QRS an outlet in Kochi. out of these half of them were having complaints like oversound.We have been complaining about this for last three months, Once a representative from videocon came and checked the problem and he informed us its the normal sound only,but we are sure that the other ones are working properly with out any noice.So we would like to get the wrong ones

I have Purchased a Videcon fridge Model code VAP194 dated on 26 April 2010, from Kay Dee Electronics, Noida. Same day problem found in cooling. After complaining the to the dealer he sent a mechanic, & mechanic said compressor is not working need to be replace, After 3 days mechanic came to my address and replace the cmpressor, i don't know it was branded or not but after few day fornd in cooling problems, heavy noise with vibration.

I hope as above problem you will resolve very soon.

Videocon / Refrigerator — No Service

Hi,
I have a Videocon Refrigerator which I has purchased in 2008. In March 2010 it stopped cooling. I registered a complain against that and a Technician Visited and repaired the Compresser. But again in July 2010 it stopped cooling. I registered a complain again and now no body is coming for even inspection.
In the meanwhile I had registered a complain against the Gasket Problem in May 2010 which also has not been rectified.

Request you to please look into this matter.

Videocon Refrigerator — no cooling and sound coming

It is not giving any cooling...& one type of sound is also coming.
Videocon chennai authorized service is taken care by the COOL SERVICES, and actually they are they are seems to be cool against all the complaints and no action will taken any of the calls too. Better suggestion need to taken by the company is to remove then from the agreement and give the tender to someone. Even the product and after service is such a bad in my experience as I bought the product last November only. TOOO BAD :(

I am Dr.Rita Ghatala.I have purchased videocon Refrigerator(capacity:300 liter) on 5th June 2011 from Indiranagar,Bangalore.I was suppose to get delivery on 6th June 2011 but didnt get.And E-zone executives were giving me false promise regarding delivery.Still this is pardonable but i got refrigerator without Box.I again contact E-zone executive for the box (carton).After couple of call they asked me to collect the big box (carton) from showroom.
Is it customer's responsibility to collect it or yours?

I am Mrs. Lathif from Parrys. On 29.6.2009 we purchased a Videocon double door fridge for Rs.10300/- from CABCO PARADISE (P) LTD, Broadway, (opp.High Court), Chennai 600001. Tel – 25362221. This fridge has given nothing but trouble from inception, and still continuing to be a menance. As soon as we brought the fridge within 1 month the fridge started to heat up instead of cooling. The shop where we bought explained it is most probably the compressor gone. It took 1 week for the compressor guys to come and fix it. Similarly, first year itself 3 times 3 compressors were changed… Unbelievable !!

The second year it was altogether a different thing. Day by day the cooling was reducing, at present we cannot even keep a pack of milk overnight without it turning curdled following morning. Past three months, the fridge is used only for keeping mild cool water. Last week I called up Videocon cc. And a technician came. He did a few minutes checkup and said the reason not cooling is gas is over. Mostly the warranty for fridge parts is one year, after warranty everything is chargable. Gas cost Rs.1800, and max. warranty for gas is around 3 months. So I have brought in our local technician next day, and he inspected thoroughly and shown us the problem is gas line blocked, not that the gas is over. Further it seems that it is not a problem which can be rectified. Even if we put in fresh gas, after 5-6 months again the problem will recur. So he is asking what is the point? According to him Videocon is a failure model, better go for LG or Samsung.

We have used a number of fridges in India, and abroad as well. Some fridges we have used for 15-20 years without a single problem. But we never encountered the problems we are facing with Videocon fridge. When I read some of the prior complaints by other Videocon consumers, I understand the symptoms of my fridge is common for their fridges as well. Clearly there is a manufacturing technical defect for frequent breakdown.

So the question I have is what is the use of this fridge, and what is the solution, and how much should we go on investing for the fridge to keep it going, is it worth, or should we dispose of it altogether and buy a new fridge of a reputed brand.. We had a high opinion of Videocon, which is going down when it is giving frustration and starting to hit our pocket now. I mean it just looks like all the parts are of poor quality and put in the fridge till the warranty period of 1 year, after which it is the customers headache to pay and replace the parts. So I hope you will look into this matter and give your solution what to do. My contact no.[protected]

Videocon — New fridge with 2 times servicing

I bought this new Videocon fridge on 8/8/10 and after 3 months the compressor got damaged and replaced. Again after few months the fan got damaged. I purchased double door Videocon refrigerator four ears back. For the past couple of days no cooling. Verified with local mechanic. He told the compressor fault. Five year warranty is there for compressor. What can I do

A complain was lodge on 29.03.2012 - attended and I was told by M/s Guru electronics and electrical – service agency’s engineer that the refrigerator’s compressor is out of order needs to be replaced and the replacement will be chargeable due to expiry of warranty. I call the engineer from other service agency M/s Shreeji service agency – contact no.[protected]. I was told that your refrigerator model is of Jully2007 covers warranty. I approach to the dealer M/s Kalpana Enterprise got full cooperation he gave me the duplicate bill too and lodge a complained to M/s Guru electronics and electrical – service agency. Complained was attended This time I was told the compressor fitted in the refrigerator is not embossed serial number needs approval from the company.

In view of above you can understand my problem being tie with “ VIDEOCON” I am going without refrigerator since 29.03.2012 in such intensive hot days.

It is requested to intervene the matter send the approval for replacement under warranty being purchased in Augest 2007 so that I enjoy and feel happy to tie with “VIDEOCON”. Hope for early solution.

Videocon D2H — asking recharge before one month

Hi Team,

I received world class worst service from ever videocon on 1st oct, 2018. My freeze was noisy and not cooling from few days. I kept calling local videocon customer care at [protected] for whole day long, finally 2 technicians came and spent appx. 30 mins and charged me 2500/-. They suggested me to install 1 stabilizer to fix issue. I did that on the very next day by spending 1000+ Rs.

The worst and pathetic scenes are as below:

1. Freeze is in same noise mode
2. That bloody black fat customer care fellow responds very harshly and illiterately always whenever I called him. In place of helping me everytime he asks for the bill no. and technician no aways. Oh, GOD! please take him to you or kill him as he doesn't deserve life or job in videocon at all.
3. Technicians no comes switched off from 1st oct onwards ( [protected])
4. That black fat customer care fellow does not have any records of technicians visited my home on 1st oct. 18
5. That bloody black fat customer care fellow is a non sense, dumb, worst man kind, waste human being too.
6. Those technicians did not provide me even a bill and took away 2500/-
I called him many a times but no resolution received yet.

Please help me ASAP.

    Videocon TV COMPLAINT

    We purchased a 29'' slim and trim colour TV ON 27th July 2008 from Fairdeal Electronics, Raja Puri .
    It started giving trouble in April 2009 ( less than nine months ) . The colors are all very harsh and brightly propping from corners and sometimes coming in waves. The I lodged complaint on 12th May 2009 ( No DEL[protected]) I was assured that the engineer would visit us within 24 hours . The technician came after 30 hours...

    WE HAVE BOUGHT A NEW LCD FROM BIGBAZAAR - 32INCHES ON 27TH JAN (Delivery date but the bill date is 10th JAN 09), IT STARTED GIVING US PROBLEM WITH THE SOUND OUTPUT IN JAN ON THE DAY WE SWITCHED IT ON BUT WE THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE THE CABLE THAT MIGHT CAUSING IT TO FLUCTUATE ON SOUND. BUT IT HAPPENED WITH THE DVD ALSO AND THIS WAS ON TI.LL APRIL 5TH WHEN THE SOUND OUTPUT WENT OUT COMPELTELY.

    SO WE HAVE MADE A COMPLAIN AND THE EXECUTIVE GAVE US A COMPLAIN NO WITH A PROMISE THAT THE PROBLEM WOULD BE FIXED WITH 24 HRS AND THE NO IS GHA[protected] IT WAS REGISTERED ON 17TH APRIL 08, THE ENGINEERS CAME AND IDENTIFIED THE PROBLEM WITH THE SOUND CARD AND TOLD US THT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AS THE LCD IS UNDER WARRANTY SO THEY HAVE TO DO IT BUT THEY ARE NOT COMING NOW AND WE KEEP CALLING EVERYDAY AND WE RECIEVE THE SAME ANSWER ABHI HEAD OFFICE SE AAYA NAHIN MADAM.

    We dont know whether they are manufacturingn it or wHAT, But they never take care of calling us back and telling why its not done or anything ...this is really very serious worst of all i was recommending my frds to Buy Videocon but now i wud not even dare to look at the LCd in any of the showroom forget refering it.

    We have never seem such problems ever, we have used LG, Godrej and philips in electronics BUT Videocon is worst and do they expect us to buy these LCD s like Potato buy it agar kharab hai toh fekh do but enko sahi kerne ko maat kaho

    and over this there executive talk in such a bad manner when you remind them that aapne call nahin kiya yaa aapne engineer nahin bheja...

      I bought 3 videocon window acs from NEXT retail shop, sardarpura jodhpur . 2 acs on 31-3-208 and 1 ac before that on july 2007.
      The performance of the acs are very poor from the day I have purchased them, they just do not give the feeling that you are siting an a room equiped with a/c, even after long time you dont get proper cooling effect.
      The complaint for this have been made to the dealer as well as to the auothorised service dealer(Sri Ram Refrigeration) but they seem to take no interest in the complaint, even after repeated reminders there is no response.
      Its now when we need the service, it is not being provided.
      Hope this complaint bring us some relief and value for our money.

      Videocon window AC — AC complaint not being attended since more than a month

      My Videocon Window AC was not working at the start of this season (April 2011).It is in guarantee period.
      Engineers came from Advance Electro Care (Prashant Vihar) and filled gas and charged Rs. 2250/-. I found it was still not cooling properly and complained. Then they came again and filled gas. But within 1 week, it again stopped cooling at all. After lodging another complain, they said that now the compressor has stopped working. (This is because thay filled gas with excess pressure).

      Since 25 April 2011, till today (06 June 2011) no one has come to change the compressor.
      They also took the copy of the bill. Everytime they visit, they ask for service charges again. But now, nobody
      is attending this complaint.

      Please consider it as a serious matter of poor service and take necessary action.

        sir,
        i purchased videocon dlx chalanger t.v around 8 yrs ago. the set's performance is good but recently i noteced a problem. the problem is the tv is not getting tunned to set channels as per our wish. while try to tune it . it is showing as "child locked". but i checked and opend the child lock also.. now child lock is being open but t.v is not getting tuned. pls give the remedy of the problem. and also pls suggest where can i get new orrginal remot for the above t.v set . hope u repond soon. thank u

          I bought a split AC of videocon (1.6 ton SPLENDOUR) from NEXT retail shop ( which is also a part of videocon ) from Durgapur, west bengal on 16th of April 2009.
          Request for installation done on the same day at 12 noon ( no is ASA[protected]) from same shop, they did not bother to install it and did not give a demo also.
          After hundreds of phone calls, they came and install it after 5 days ( despite my house is just 8 km away from service centre).
          they didnot give any official bill, but took full charges ( Re 1500 ) for instalation.

          After that AC ran for 30 minutes and after that it went out of order, making loud metalic noice from out side fan and throwing hot air inside the room.

          my electric line is O.K. and I am using a voltage stabilizer of whirlpool as per recomendation of NEXT - VIDEOCON.

          After that we made complaints for severel times, did hundreds of phone call to NEXT retail chain and Videocon Service centre, but till today 2nd MAY 2009 they have not come check the problem even.

          16 days gone, AC ran for 30 minutes only, Summer is on the way of leaving, will they solve my problem in WINTER ?!!!

          I am helpless, want to take action against Videocon service centre Durgapur WEST BENGAL and my money back, so that i can buy any good AC, which wont make me suffer, .

            I have bought a split AC last year in the month of May from Capital Electronics. But the machine had a motor which does not function.
            I have continuously lodged a complain but no one is bothered about it and one of the mechanics who have attended said the machine needs to be changed but no one from Videocon Or Capital Electronics Ultadanga respond.Model no VSG 5222 CM NO APP753108. Complaint number to Videocon is KOL[protected] KOL[protected] KOL[protected] are some of the complain numbers that i have given here.
            So much money energy to set things ok have gone down the drain. It is really pathetic. I am still hopeful that one day they will wake up.

              I Mathews Philip...staying at A-154 Sector 51 Kendriya Vihar Noida had bought 1.5 ton videocon Ac from Kaydee Electronics Sector 18 Noida.

              Saleman commited of installation to be done at my location at Rs 750...wherein when the person came he started asking for Rs1200...on verification it was found that he was not from Videocon company.

              I had to get my AC installed on my own where I spent Rs1200.

              I would like Videocon to refund my excess payment of Rs 450.

                i have purchased Videocon W/m 6800 Combie Dix i.e. semi automatic washing machime on 23/08/2008 from BELA VISION, Vadodara. in last week of March 2009 the plastic knob to drain the washtub stopped working. on complained a chap came did the job and went. it was temporary solution. so very next day again draining water was a problem i complained again, again the same thing and it continued for 10 days. finally a chap came and he told me that the knob and some inner part is broken and with 10 days that thing will bw done. but till today i.e. after one month also the situation is same. one of the technician did a temporary arrangement og pulling the drain string to drain water from the washtub. since last one month i am doing it. the customer care is not bothered. i reminded so many times but every time thay say they haven't got sparepart.
                if the company is making good that get broken with 6-7 months only and after repeated complains also if service centers are not having such breakable spares them why anybody shoud go for any product of videocon? this is very bad experience.

                i hope this complaint will be taked seriously. because i want company to do needful efore the warrenty period gets over.

                  I have purchased one Window AC 0.8 Ton (Videocone) through IndiaTimes Shopping Website against Booking No.[protected] dated 17.04.09. I have been communited price Rs. 9320 including Shipping Charges 330 at time of purchasing. After booking process, i have been charged 6% on 9320 through credit card which was not communited to me at the time of booking.
                  I had call at Customer Care No. of Indiatimes, they confirm me that same processing charge by Bank Itself, not by Marchant. But ICICI Bank has confirmed me by mail in writing that same amount has been charges by Marchant.
                  I am continiously calling at Delhi Customer Care Number and through Mail, but India Times not in position to give me positive reply.

                    i had made the payenment of Videocon Split AC 1 ton in NEXT electronic shhowroom at marol on 24/03/2009 they have given a aid in mumbai mirror on 22/03/09 and on 27/03/09 the price in this duration was 12400/- they have not made the delivery saying that the particular model is out of stock and will be delivered shortly

                      As my fridge was not working, i made a complaint at Varanasi service centre over tel no.-[protected] on[protected] and after hearing complain i was given complaint no. d21000.
                      The person noted my adress and assured that the service person will visit on[protected]. In evening dated[protected] i enquired at service centre about status of complain and was informed that ok was written infront of my complaint no.i again inform the person that my complain was not redressed on[protected] and requested the service center people to check my fridge as my family is facing lots of problem due to non working of fridge.
                      i was informed that some person will definitely visit to my house for redressel of my complaint.

                      at this time as no one from service center has visited my house and my fridge is still not working, i am left with no option than to submit my feedback to higher authorities and headoffice.

                      as your esteemed brand name enjoys a very good position in market, it is painful that inspite of a laps of two days my said complaint no.D21000 is still unattainted causing problems to my family as well as fading up the bright picture of your company.
                      i hope that due attention will be paid to redress my complain and people at service center to attend the complaints properly.

                      Capacity-200LT-double door
                      model no.-d-201TT
                      problem-cooling is almost nil.

                      i had also purchased videocon fridge modle No. D201TT, and found the worst performence in working, therefore all customers are requested to stop byeing any fridge from this company. This company is famous for not attending customer's complains, and i want to give gold madle for his worst service.

                        I purchased washing machine semi automatic videocon model - dolphin 6.8 Kg from Sigma Electronics Narwana Bazaar, Yol Cantt, Distt. Kangra (H.P.) and paid Rs.7680 as per bill No.7376 dated 08.03.2009. I was told that the above price is accrding to C.S.D.
                        I have doubt that the dealer is authorise to sell as per C.S.D. even then the rates are higher than as per C.S.D.rates.
                        Moreover the bill is not showing the details of the model . Only W/m 6.8Kg videocon is indicated in the bill.Why they do not show the model no.and their details?When I approach to make details the dealer refused to do so.
                        I request that if the dealer has sold me the washing machine as per C.S.D. he should give me at the C.S.D.rates and thus extra amount should be refunded.

                          Sir, We bought a washing machine model videocon V-NA-45FDX, serialno;9003 on 10/08/02.But on 20/10/2008 we had to replace the mother board costing around RS 3000/- .Now the machine has started malfunctioning, the warranty expires on 20/04/2009 .We tried approaching the service center at Kochi, where we reside, we were informed that the centers in South India are notfunctioning as they are on strike .PLEASE HELP us find a solution to our problem before the warranty of the machine expires.

                            Split AC 5233 with Stabliser was booked on 29/03/2009 for Rs. 17, 000/- in the name of Jitendra Jain S/O D K Jain for delivery on 15/04/2009 at Next Retail, New Sanganer Road, Jaipur
                            Cash payment of Rs. 2000/- was paid on the same day as Advance
                            The Bill/Invoice No 2320 dated 29/03/2009 was issued by NSR SHOP No 11110/1/5385 (Copy Attached)
                            The Dealer informed that as the system upgraded they are unable to full fil the commitments and unless you pay additional Rs. 1200/- for this product. le for such type of How the client is responsible for such type of system. Therefore I have talked at Corporate office Mumbai whRoc have agreed with my view and suggested to talk with Shri Amit Jain Branch Head NEXT, Rajasthan.

                            It is therefore requested to please look into the matter and instruct the Retail Shop 11110/1/5385 to deliver the goods on the agreed price on the date

                              Don't buy any Videocon products.
                              To my fate, I bought a Videocon Washing machine Xlent, and now I am having a water leakage while I am inside the warranty period. Today it is 13th of April and from 2nd April I am calling the customer support to rectify my problem. I called their toll free customer support also and till date nobody turned up to solve my problem.

                              I got couple of number given by the toll free customer support when I asked fro contact info of some responsible people of Videocon and none of the numbers are operational or getting attended.

                              I am really cheated.
                              Dont ever buy a Videocon product.

                              from M/S Gupta electronics-1141/2, mori gate, Manimajra, Chd-vide bill no. 4410 dt 5-08-08.
                              there is problem in machine working from the day of purchase.I had lodged complaint with the dealer & at chandigarh service centre so many times.but no benefit of it.
                              hii..i mhav purchased videocon washing machine in dec 2008 and sice then it had a water leakage problem thrice, i hav registered the complaint every time bt i dont know every time problem comes out again . now the machine has again same problem

                              This problem has been there for more than three weeks now. My washing machine has a water leakage problem. I registered a complaint with the Videocon customer care number. After repeatedly calling them for over 10 days someone showed up last Thursday and apparently 'fixed' the problem. Today, when I operated the washing machine, I found that the water leakage problem is still there. Registered a new compaint (del[protected]). I am sure it will take another fortnight to get this solved.

                              Very unhappy with Videocon customer care. Last time when I emailed the customer care department, some customer care rep replied back saying that the problem would be taken care of soon. He was a bare faced lier (a fraud just like the company he works for), no steps were taken from his end.

                              My advice to you, DO NOT, purchase any Videocon products. The products and the after sales service suck.
                              I have purchased the same model before 11 months and facing same problem.Last 3 days I am trying to cntact their Service Centre but no body is responding.

                              I have purchaed a washing machine in lonavala and then we got shifted to Talegao, pune. Now i got problem with my machine. Water is coming out of the pipe even if drain is switched off. The issue is i am not able to find out customer care service at Talegao. Please guide me with this problem.
                              Semi automatic m/c having problem of water leakages from rinse inlet pipe.

                              As per them we have to control the same without any device provided by the company!

                              What a answer? Technical helping hands are not available with the company.
