[Resolved]  Vodafone — Talk plan changed without my permission / acknowledgement

I have accenture 299 plan and as an employee I pay the bill not the organization. My talk plan was changed by Vodafone without any formal communication from Accenture to accenture 249.

The change in plan has escalated my bill amount more than 4 times. I use to get bill between Rs. 700 to 1000 and after change in talk plan it has escalated to greater than Rs. 3600/- This is certainly not acceptable to me. With reference to this I have marked email to corporate.[protected]@vodafone.com and resolution not received. The call center says that they cant help as its corporate connection. The call center team doesnot have any idea and their product / policy related information is extremely poor.

The vodafone customer care executives misguided me and laugh on the call. Employees like Tariq Uddind make mockery of the customers. This is the 2nd time I have complained about this agent and nothing has improved about this agent.

One customer service agent, Prakash Shah says that its a default change which may have happened and then after few days I do a followup call and talk to a Supervisor, Riyaz Jaria said he had given incorrect information. Prakash Shah confirmed that one of their TL - Nasim Khan would call back as I wanted to complaint about the product knowledge and the way my issue was being handled and was promised callback in 2hrs time and till date no callback is received by me. Reference # given to me was[protected]

Spoke to Agent called Austin Fernandes and he says my relationship manager requested change of my talk plan on behalf of me. Asked her name and contact no. and the information provided was: Relationship Manager Name: Reshma Shownkeen's and contact no. provided was [protected]. When I called the contact no I get to know, Reshma has left the organization for more than a year and changes are made on 11th Sep 09. How can someone change the plan when she is not with the organization?

Prayag Saroj, another customer service agent at Vodafone call center tells me that my relationship manager had sent talk plan change request on 17th Sep 09. How can someone send email on 17th Sep 09 when the changes are already done on 11th Sep 09?

The Supervisor, Riyaz Jaria tells me clearly he cant do anything about this and he aint willing to help me. When I give him lessons on customer service and way to treat customers he agrees to share name of current relationship manager but doesnot share email id and contact nos. He also gives no. of authorised signatory for vodafone based out at accenture office and I am going to call him tomorrow to check on it.

I dont know how this will close but I want resolution to this issue. I wont pay my current bill as the talk plan was changed without my consent. If as a customer I pay the bill I should be deciding what should be my plan. How can accenture or vodafone change a plan when they are not going to pay for it? How can employees be kept unaware and automatically change the plan on any account? I will pay Vodafone only if my bill is calculated as per my original plan i.e. Accenture 299 plan.

I wont pay a single penny to vodafone for change in plan. This is unethical on vodafone's side to change the plan. I can very well decided for myself what is important for me.

Hi ! my name is manav thakkar and number is [protected] and i have recieved a pathetic services from VODAFONE they have changed my postpaid plan without my knowledge and concern and because of this I have been charged as per the new plan and now I am reciving a threatning calls from them and they do not have any thing in written in which I have requested them to change my price plan can someone tell me what I can do...can I file a case in consumer court???

Vodafone — Change of plan without my knowledge

I m using my mobile number for the last 2 yrs and last month when i received my bill i was shocked to see that the plan for my number has been changed without my consent. When I contaced the customer care they say that it has been done with my consent, which is not true. They also tried calling me after that trying to convince me that my new plan is better for me than the old one. But they have charged me Rs.3590.02 according to the new plan, where as if it had been in my old plan i would have been charged atleast Rs.800 less.

So i find my old plan better and i was happy with it, i wouldn want to change my plan as they say. Then my complaint was forwarded and I got no response and subsequently my outgoing was also barred.

The title holder of my mobile bill is a friend and was not in my name. So i was asked to give a No Objection letter, which was also provided to them. Now after all this they come up with a reason saying that the complaint cannot be taken forward as the title holder is different. If they had told me this as soon as i made the complaint i could have made necessary arrangments for the title hold to lodge the complaint or would have applied for a change in title. But now i was asked to apply for a change of title, which i did. But now they say we cannot accept it as it was not done before.

This is absolutely ridiculous to be cheating a customer like this. Now they want me to clear the outstanding, which i am ready to if they would change it to my previous plan. I request the authourities to address to this issue on a priority as my number has been barred for any outgoing calls and will subsequently be suspened if the payment is not made. I am willing to make the payment if it was on my previous plan. Kindly do the needful.

Vodafone — FORCEFULLY CHANGE THE PLAN WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE

SIR/MADAM,

WITH DUE RESPECT,
I AM USING INTERNET USB OF VODAFONE FOR LAST 6 MONTHS. THE PLAN FOR THE USB IS 299 MONTLY UNLIMITED. I GOT THE BILLS OF THIS PARTICULAR PLAN FOR LAST 5 MONTHS. AND I PAID REGULAR BILLS.
BUT SUDDENLY, LAST MONTH COMPANY HAS CHANGED THE PLAN FROM UNLIMITED TO 2 G.B. WITHOUT MY WILL. AND THIS MONTH THEY SEND ME A BILL OF 13, 000 Rs. WHICH IS REALLY A BIG SURPRISE FOR ME.
NOW I WROTE SOMANY EMAILS AND CALLED TO THE CUSTOMER CARE FOR THIS INHUMAN AND UNDEMOCRATIC BEHAVIOR BY THE COMPANY. BUT THEY DID NOT RESPOND WELL. I HAD ALSO VISITED THE VODAFONE STORE. THEY SAID THIS IS A COMPANY PLAN.

WHY THE COMPANY WITHDRAWING FROM IT'S COMMITMENT?

PLEASE GUIDE ME WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW? I AM READY TO PAY WHAT I WAS COMMITTED BY THE COMPANY AT THE START OF THE PLAN.
