[Resolved]  Volkswagen India — Pathetic Service

Hi,

I bought VW Vento Highline TDI on March 21st 2011 from Mangalore as the vehicle had a long booking period in Bangalore. After buying the vehicle my worst of the days started as the service center of VW in Bangalore is pathetic. Auto up function of the rear window in my car was not working within one week from the time I bought the vehicle & I took the vehicle promptly to Bangalore Down Town Service station who repaired it but charged me for the repair. I asked them promptly if there is something called warranty for which I was told these kind of repairs are not covered under warranty. After this in a couple of months I noticed crack on my windshield (Again manufacturing defect) & again I had to take the vehicle to the same service station as only 2 service stations are available in Bangalore & the other service station is about 45kms from my place. I was told that the windshield would be replaced under warranty by Mr. Kumar at Down Town but after 3 days when I asked about the status & went to collect the vehicle I was told that warranty was not approved. Again when I demanded to provide warranty reject documents is when the dealer sent it for warranty (which I came to know later) & the pictures which were shown to VW was also not the pictures of my car. This I realized after taking delivery by paying complete amount & when I went back I was told VW did not approve but the matter of fact is as they had not sent the case for warranty claim earlier they only wanted to cover up for their act & had mailed VW photos which was not of my car.

After this in the month of August on a weekend I noticed that the engine faulty light was on in the dashboard. As it was weekend I tried to contact the toll free number wherein a technical person spoke to me & I explained the technical person that I have noticed a wire which had come out of the socket near air filter. The technical guy asked me to take the vehicle to the same service station in spite of explaining him the horrifying experience which I was going through & promised me that the wire would be replace under warranty.

After this I took the vehicle & gave the vehicle for repair on 22nd August & promised date of delivery was also 22nd August. But I was not given the vehicle for the next 3 days & when I went to take the delivery of the vehicle as usual no warranty was claimed & I was promptly handed over the bill. But when I asked for explanation on for all manufacturer's defect am I responsilbe no one has been able to answer.

I have written several times to VW on the horrifying experience which I & other VW buyers in Bangalore have been going through I have not recieved the revert. Please help me....

yup, agreed, owning a VW car is a curse, I myself been suffering from this. Its all across the country not just for a particualr dealer..
i have also given my polo car for central locking system not working on 15th of oct m/s abra motors chennai, till today they are yet to solve the problem, its going to be one month, there is no respone from higher ups or solution given to me.whom should i contact further. if anybody could help me on this i will be very greatfull.ajoykumar
i gave my polo in mount road showroom.. the service manager took down my only complaint for the first service- the front windows were not working..
the response was when i went to take my car back 4 days later as that was the delivery time fixed - the had put the fuse from the rear windows and now the problem has been very ably shifted location but not solved. the fact is they dint bother to look into the job card till the last minute.. very poor vacuum cleaning inside..on top of everything the service manager tried to force meto give him the best score in customer feedback... long live the attitude of service persons of V W
I given my car polo given for inspection and cleaning at Volkswagen Deccan at up pal, there is no proper cleaning and bad work even though I paid the work done by them was very poor.there is no standard work . Manger name is Srikanth, advisor name Arun they made manipulation in invoice bill .i didn't expected from Volkswagen service center.they were literally back of money and work is nil.
Am requesting you to take action.unnecessary these people r spoing the brand and standards of compAny
