I have purchased VERTIS PREMIUM WINDOW AIR CONDITIONER ON 6-5-2008 DISCARDING MY SAMSUNG MAKE 1.5 TON AIR CONDITIONER WHICH IS FOUR YEARS OLD, . AS A CONSUMER WITH A BRAND OF TATA I HAD A 100% BELIEF THAT VOLTAS WILL BE SUPERIOR IN QUALITY. BUT MY BELIEF TURNED FALSE THAT WHETHER IT IS A VOLTAS, ELGI, OR SAMSUNG. ONLY MARKETTING STRATEGIES LURE THE GULLIBLE CONSUMERS LIKE ME. INFACT ELGI WAS READY TO OFFER ME 1.5 TON WINDOW AIRCONDITIONER FOR RS. 15000/.
WHY SHOULD I PAY MORE FOR A DEFECTIVE BRAND FOR WHOM I HAD I HIGH HOPE AND PAID RS 18360/ TO YOUR AUTHORISED DEALER NAMELY VENUS AGENCIES, PONDICHERRY VIDE BILL NO: 2338 DATED 6/5/2008.

I WOULD APPRECIATE TO REPLACE MY UNIT WITH THREE STAR AND REPLACE YOUR DEFECTIVE PRODUCT AT THE EARLIEST TO SAVE US FROM THE BURNING SUMMER OF PONDICHERRY AND I AM WILLING TO PAY MORE PROVIDED WITH A ASSURANCE THAT I SHOULD NOT CURSE CHOOSING THE PRODUCT FROM THE HOUSE OFTATAS.

I completely agree with the complaint filed. I am myself an agrieved customer of Voltas. They have provided me with a deffective unit and insist on only repairing the same and not replacing the unit. The unit has been giving me trouble right from the 1st week of its purchase. I bought the Airconditioner on 22nd May'09 and the problems started occuring from 29th May'09. And since then the problems have been increasing and everyday I have to complain to Voltas regarding something or the other. It seems that Voltas should start paying all its customers salary for doing a full time job of registering complaints on their call centre. Because purchasing a Voltas product means that you are only purchasing head ache for yourself.
