[Resolved]  W580i — service center at chandrapur demanding money for the mobile under warranty

Subject: service centre is demanding money to repair the mobile under warrenty
Dear Sir,
I am working as an Asst.Professor in the Dept. of Physics at Janata Mahavidyalaya, Chandrapur, and Dist. Chandrapur 442401. Maharashtra state.
I purchased a mobile set of your reputed company on 26/10/2008, Model No.W580i; IMEI No.[protected] of rupees ten thousand. I have full faith in the quality of your product and I have already purchased other electronic products of your brand.
But this time, I am quite disappointed. The above mentioned mobile set stopped working all of a sudden from 22/9/2009. I approached the shop from where I purchased the set. The proprietor of the shop directed me to the authorized service centre of your company Renuka Computers; shop no G2B, Nilkamal chamber, Gokul galli, Chandrapur 442401. District Chandrapur Maharashtra state Mobile no of the shop/service centre is [protected]
But I did not get any satisfactory service from this centre. They could not repair it. They also demanded Rs.4000/-, for the repair. To my great dismay, they asked me to get it repaired outside the warranty provision.
It is my request to you to handle the matter, and to find an amicable solution. I know you will not disappoint your costumer, and you will try your best to satisfy them.
To conclude, I sincerely hope that company of your reputation and expertise will be customer friendly and will solve the problem as early as possible. Therefore, I was forced to send legal notice to the mobile shop and the service centre. I did it because of their non co-operation and indifference. They have not yet replied.
It is my request to you to handle the matter, and to find an amicable solution. I know you will not disappoint your costumer, and you will try your best to satisfy them.
Please, intimate me about the actions you are going to take in this matter. Please give it to me in writing as early as possible. Otherwise, I shall be compelled to take legal action through consumer court.
Your prompt action in this matter is most urgent. I have suffered economically and mentally because of the defective piece. I also wasted my precious time for this matter, but without any result.
To conclude, I sincerely hope that company of your reputation and expertise will be customer friendly and will solve the problem as early as possible.
