[Resolved]  wagon R Duo — mileage

I also own Wagon R duo and iam also facing the same problem. Pls let me know what did you do to improve on mileage part

Yes i fully agreed i too bought wagonr duo and on LPG i am getting mileage of 8 K.M. per litre with ac in city and 9 and 91/2 on highway. Maruti services are now going to deterioted day by day. what is the use to get LPG car when mileage is so less.

I am also facing the same problem after 14600 KM running, I am getting 8 Km. per ltr. on gas in city area & 12 KM on High Way. my Wagon R reg. is sept. 2009 I heard that Wagon R gives average around 18 - 19 on petrol . Is that true ? Pl. tell some body.

I got Wagon R LXI in July 09. Initially I got very good mileage and now its reduced to 8 Kms with Gas and approx 9 to 10 Kms in Petrol.

Pl some one help in getting this improved

i, Mr.Amlan nandan from Kolkata is also facing the same problem. i bought a wagonr duo on 5.12.08 golden colour.before buying i heard that being a small car it gives very good mileage and has a low maintainence cost.but now after completing 33000 km in 2 yrs i am a lot unsatisfied with duo.in the normal city driving with a, c on i am getting 6.85-7.85km/ltr and without a.c it gives 8.5-9.now taking a duo wagonr saves not a single bit of money rather you need to spend 30000 xtra while buying it.and i[censored] ask performance in lpg its the worst of the lot.it takes 5 mins to touch 100km/hr and then starts to vibrate heavily and u can experience knocking with ease.very very very poor acce and the engine starts to cry heavily at 80-90 km/hr.now driving in petrol and lpg makes no diff to me as lpg has milaege like that of an accord with worst performance.i have suffered a lot by taking duo wagonr and i would rather advice all my friends not to go for it as it does not saves not a little bit of money. from your friend AMLAN NANDAN.

I had purchased WagonR duo on Nov 2007 and completed 75000 km till date. I never faced any problem with it's performance. Also will be getting mileage around 11-12 km in city with AC ON and around 13-14 km on highways. You need to keep the periodic maintainance of you car to get the performance. I never serviced my car outside maruti authorised service center. Change iol, filters and spark plus periodically as given in service booklet and you will enjoy your cars performance.

I purchased WagonR Duo on June 2008, it has run 41, 000kms well maintained, it gives me 12-14kms in city and 14-16kms highway on LPG, 2-3 kms more on petrol. I usually drive on LPG and prefer Aegis LPG. I used to get 9-10kms on Indianoil LPG station in Belgaum.
I advise you all to please don't go for HP or INDIAN OIL LPG.

I purchased WagonR Duo on June 2010 march. it gives only 9 t0 10km (with AC) and i have coved only 18000km. No use of addtional amount spent. Any suggestion to improve the mileage? pls mail [protected]@gmail.com

Even I am facing that problem. It gives me around 8 - 9 KMPL of gas in city. I had it serviced last week saying its giving less mileage but even thn no improvement in mileage. Its very painful to maintain it.
