I had the same issue. I was receiving similar message from AIRTEL from past 5 days. I call up AIRTEL's customer care 4 times but still I used to get this message. Finally I wrote an e-mail to '[protected]@airtelindia.com' and to "nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in". The issue was resolved by evening. Also, I got the refund from AIRTEL for the amount debited from my pre-paid account.

I am using airtel numbers for past 4 years,
Suddenly from past few days funny services are getting activated on their own on my Nos. first is Jokes pack then some Bikini alerts. Seems Like airtel has just cracked in new method of cheating people. for example,
On one of my No. [protected] Bikini alerts are activated and i m being charged One rupee unnecessarily. the same is with my other No. [protected]. what is this happening? i tried many complaints regarding the same. U can check ur records. but what i get is only liars who give me only assurances. But the problem still persists.
What i want to say is, is this some new method of cheating people? How do these things get activated on their own... will this cheating innocent customers stop?
Kindly do the needful... I dont mind taking this matter to TRAI( I wont hesitate)... if so then plz do let me know...

My mobile no is [protected]. Facing the same nuisance from the Great Airtel.
A lot of complaints had been lodged. Customer care services speak as if the have passed out the 1st standard knowing nothing about it or the (PREPAID Customer GO to HELL).
In fact after so many complaints this is for sure that the AIRTEL knows about the problem very well and its an known issue. Only a few like us are complaining on net but there may be thousands of PREPAID customers like us. So if we calculate Our fellow service provider is making a huge money by fooling thousands like us.
How on earth AIRTEL finds this justifiable i have no idea.
But I would like to inform our Service Provider that there are way outs for poor fellows like us also:
1. Consumer Court
2. Side Campaigns in Colleges and institutes.
3. Police reports.
None of these would have a favourable resultant. So a heartiest request to the SEVICE PROVIDER please show some pro-activeness without wasting any time. Because if you loose time you will have no time to repent.
