I have complaint against Whirlpool Company and its servicing Executives/Engineers, who take customers for a ride. I have brought this Whirlpool 0.8 ton AC in Chennai, less than 9 months ago. Suddenly it stopped cooling around three weeks back. I caled Whirlpool customer care, and after repeated calls to their call centers, was able to get a 10 minute visit from their executive on April 6, 2008. This executive informed that my AC's problem is gas leakage and the it has to go to workshop to get fixed. He also said that a different executive will visit me the next day to collect the AC for workshop.
I have never heard from Whirlpool again. I have called Whirlpool call center in Chennai more than 20 times since then, and they have only given me number of another Whirlpool executives Kumar ([protected]) and Barathi/Sarathi([protected]), who have only given me false assurances of coming and picking the AC, since then. They have asked me to come home from office early on various days (I am a working women) and have not turned up or call. They have also stopped taking my call. I am in a great fix as whom to approach for help and rectification of my problem.The AC is still under warranty period and they just want money.
