Hi,
This is to bring your notice about the worst service I am going through with your Pune Service Center.
21 Sep 2009, I bought a Whirlpool genius Refrigerator (Model: 19 Supreme) of 180 Ltr from ARUN AGENCIES, Chinchwad after your tempting promotions on "Cooling ka Naya genius"
15 Nov 2009, my refrigerator stopped functioning and failed cooling
18 Nov 2009 (Wednesday) I registered a complaint dialing[protected]Complaint No. PN[protected]) and received the promise that the technician will be attending my home within 24 hours
I had to make 5 phone calls to get the technician (Mahesh) to have a check on the product and that to after 3 days.
The first diagnosis on Saturday (21 Nov 2009) was the damage of THERMOSTAT. He wanted to replace the spare part at the soonest (within two days)
After 6 days, he brought THERMOSTAT on Friday (27 Nov 2009) when I was at Mumbai for official purpose. I fixed meeting with him (to replace the same) on Monday (30 Nov 2009). However when he failed to attend my home, I had to make few calls and realized that the "Thermostat" ordered for me was utilized for someone Else's purpose. Finally I spoke to the in-charge Mr. Prashant (Pune). He promised me to fix the issue (a complete resolution) latest by 2 Dec 2009 (Wed).
2 Dec 2009 was also gone with the wind and my problem remained unresolved. I have stopped chasing Mahesh/Whirlpool till the Thermostat has been replaced with a new one on second week of December and the problem was not fixed with that as well.
As per technician's advise, I again called the Customer Care and lodged another complaint (PN[protected]) to get the service again.
After few days, Technician Mahesh visited my home with a co-technician and discussed about the problem each other. They still did not fix the issue and confused between a compressor problem and gas leak issue.
I hope that you might have understood my state of mind after seeing my fridge turned off for more than a month and the scene of Food and Beverages left out even during the time of guest visit.
I have spent much money in purchasing your product and spent on making phone calls for repair.
I am completely fed up with your pathetic service and left me with only one option.
Sorry to inform you that I am proceeding to Consumer Court against you on denying timely warranty service within few days of purchase once I have all the evidences. As I do not need a lawyer to sue against you, it is my primary responsibility to inform you as a decent customer.
Being a MBA graduate I know the value of a customer and you must be aware how an unsatisfied customer would cost the goodwill of Whirlpool.
From the bottom of my heart, I feel that I would have gone for Godrej which was suggested by my friends in Mumbai.
Now, I understood my worst purchase decision and will not make such mistakes going forward and the people I know.
MY PROBLEMS STILL REMAINS UNRESOLVED...
