[Resolved] Whirlpool — Customer Service | |||
I own a Whirlpool refrigerator 310 lts for last 15 yeras. Till now we never had a single issue with the product. Recently, the refrigerator had some cooling problem and we thought of getting it checked. For this we got in touch with the customer care deptt of Whirlpool. I called the customer care deptt [protected] (Number allocated to North Region as per their Website). When I called this number they insisted that I need to call the Local number allocated for Gurgaon which is[protected]. After calling this number, they gave a complaint number HR[protected], with a commitment that I will get a call from service engineer within 2 hours and the product will be repaired on the same day. (That same day never came) No such call was received and I had to call customer care deptt a number of times requesting a service engineer. Till now I haven't received a call from the service engineer. Finally, I gave up and got the refrigerator repaired from a local shop. Considering the fact that I owned this refrigerator for 15 years and I didn't give any issues is beyond excellent. However, the service to back up this kind of product is both pathetic and appalling. These are must:- • When you call the whirlpool customer service for any complaint, you must a good patience as they will do everything in their power to drive you nuts. • Getting angry at customer service is of no use, as they will disconnect your call and may even delay the service. • Even if they commit that a call from engineer will be given in two hours, that call will never come. • They are offering good product, but worse customer service.
