We bought our machine in 2006 and we have been having problems with it right from day one. It used to take about 4 hrs do do a simple wash, with the display board showing errors in between for long stretches of time. The diagnosis initially was that the water pressure is not good enough and it was taking too long to fill. After enduring this problem for a while and then having it re-examined by a technician (who was very hard to find), the real problem was found to be with some faulty ICs (ICs which monitor the front inlet valve) on the PCB and a clogged filter in the pipe. I presume that faulty ICs were present on the board when we bought the machine itself but the technician could not identify it and wrongly blamed it on insufficient water pressure. The result is that we had to pay Rs 2000 for replacing the ICs since the problem was only identified after the guarantee period was lapsed. The electronics on this model are both expensive (Rs 3400 if the entilre PCB needs to be replaced, wcich is 1/4th the machine cost) and of poor quality.
