[Resolved] Whirlpool — not attending service request | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, I am having a Whirlpool semi automatic washing machine which started giving trouble since last 15 days. I called their customer care at [protected] on 12/06/2013 and lodged a complain(complain id-GW[protected]) and I was told that I will be contacted within 24 hours and their expert will visit my place from the nearest service center and the issue will be resolved. But till today there is no response from their end. Today, I called for the FOURTH time on the customer care number and got the same response, “I am sorry for the inconvenience. I am forwarding your case and it will be taken up on priority basis. Blah blah”. All crap. So Whirlpool has proven as one of the companies which have no customer support and after sales services what so ever. At the time of selling a product, country wide service and what not is assured. But this is the state of affairs actually. I don’t know which clock they are following which could not finalize a deadline of 24 hours where as 7 days has elapsed already. Whirlpool — Complaint not attended
I had purchased extended warranty plan (HG[protected] of Whirlpool. I booked a complaint for my fridge at its call centre at 8 am on 14.7.2010 (AH[protected]. I was informed that service engineer will contact between 11 am and 1 pm. When nobody contacted I called up call centre again. I was told that service engineer Mr J Desai will call shortly. When nobody called till 5 pm, I again called call centre at 5.45 pm. The same story was repeated. Nobody attended the complaint. I have been harassed by the company and also incurred loss in terms of rotten food stuff (chocolates, frozen foods etc)Will company take any action to compensate my loss and punish the erring officials?
