[Resolved] Whirlpool — Refrigerator Repair not done properly | |||
We have a one door Whirlpool Fridge- model number: 5372, serial number: INC[protected], since December 2002. For the first time we faced a problem with the fridge and called the Whirlpool Service Center for registering a complaint on 23rd March 2010. The complaint number was GB[protected]. An engineer came on 24th March 2010 and told us that the compressor is not functioning and has to be changed and also to install a regulator for the fridge. This was done and we paid an amount of Rs 3500/- for the compressor and Rs 1750/- for the regulator. Since then my fridge has not been functioning properly. I have almost every week registered a complaint, after that for non – cooling of the fridge with the customer center of Whirlpool. The engineers come and say that there is a gas choke, they do some welding, refitting and go away, but the problem persists. Interestingly, any engineer who comes does not ask for the Customer Satisfaction Code from us. The last complaint we did was on 13th April 2010. The complaint number is: GB[protected]. An engineer came on 14th April and said that the first engineer had not done the fitting well and the pipes would have to be changed and flushing would be done; he also informed that the oil has started to leak in the freezer. He told us that he would be coming back to fix this. To this date no one has turned up, even after following up for this particular complaint continuously (in total for around 10 times) with the call center, their branch office and their ASM- Mr. S K Singh. When we spoke to Mr. S.K Singh on the 16th April 2010, he told us that the problem would be fixed on 16thApril itself, which was not done again as always. In between talking to Mr. A K Singh, one gentleman who claimed to be the malik of the service center also promised us a proper service and told us that they would get the fridge taken to their workshop and get it fixed. We informed him that we no longer wish to get the repairing done and want our money back, as we no longer trust Whirlpool as a company, and their engineers and call centers. Our fridge has been ruined by the unprofessional job work of the engineer of Whirlpool, we would request you to kindly help us get our money and compensation for the undue inconvenience and harassment caused by the organization for almost a month now. charged Rs. 5000/- to repair my free, but there is still no cooling and ice Many calls I do, but nobody bother. eVen not refunding my money.
