This is to inform that the Indian subsidary of Whirlpool is really a dishonest and cheat organization. Not their product but their service is very substandard. They always give false hope and their middle management is fully skilled with customer negligence. A public awarness is required to completely throw this organization out. As a matter of fact, the incident became like this:
I've purchased, a water purifier around 10 months back. This is still under warranty period. If I need to do the service, I need to pay to whirlpool engineer. As an example, to reinstall the water filter I need to pay Rs 600/- to service engineer where customer care people confirmed it's only Rs. 100/-. Even though they didn't turn up for 9 days. After giving call as part of follow up, today one of their store manager picked up the call and saying there is no call registered. But there is a call registered to install the water filter well in advance, 13th July 2011. However I've received Service Request Id on 20th May 2011 when I've requested for engineer visit to re-install the water purifier. Mr. Shekhar has been assigned for the Job and he has done the inspection of the place and asked for money (I don't know, should I call it bribe?)
In fact customer care people also got training to put the customer on hold for indefinite people. To be honest, I started feeling that, we should buy a product based on custmer's feedback on service. I tried to reach customer care executive around 26 times and result is I need to purchase another weter purifier since whirlpool is doing cheating business. Was this information helpful? |
