[Resolved]  Woodland Shoes — Defective Product

I had purchase a pair of sandal worth Rs. 2399 from Earthline Store of Woodland at Sakinaka, Mumbai. The stiching of the straps of sandals came out within 2 to 3 hours and because of which i was not able to wear the sandals. I had to buy a new pair of sandals and carry the defective sandals in a carry bag, cause i was out of mumbai at that time i returned the same sandals after 2-3 days. Now they say that we will repair and give and will not replace, which is feel is cheating with the customer.
They say that "lena hain to ye lo, nahin to jo marji hain wo karlo" purely DADAGIRI.
They are not ready to give a credit note or atleast change the product so that i can take something else from that store.
They is no one responsible at the Customer care of Woodland, even after sending several mails, there is not a single reply from them till now.

This is to inform you that the employee at your store and your company i feel are least bothered about the customer. The sales person at your store does not have the manners to speak to the customer.

Even after selling defective goods to the customer you'll react as if nothing is wrong from your side. I had clearly mentioned in my previous mails that i want my money refund and not the product or atleast give me a credit note for the same.

I have a very bad experience with your sandals that i had purchased from your store and i would not like to take that sandals back i.e. repaired sandals.

I would once again request to issue me a credit note or else i will have to approach consumer forum for my claim and compensation and also for the mental agony and problems i faced.

It is lke a pure DADAGIRI that your salesperson at your store speaks that "sandals repair hoke hi milega, lena hain to lo, nahin to karlo jo karna hain".

You are selling footwears and i beleive you had not opened a store to do such type of DADAGIRI with the customer, if i dont get a credit note i will surely approach CONSUMER FORUM i.e. CONSUMER COURT for my Claim and compensation after 3 days.

Even after asking several times to give me the numbers of your Zonal Head or Mumbai Head or any other Senior representative to speak regarding the problem, your sales person says that there is no senior in Mumbai, you just to customer care, rest i cannot help you.

And also this is your customer care where no one is bothered to reply to the customer.

GD0825110 CAMEL 41 FOOTWEAR on 2nd May, 2011 from the store located at Sakinaka junction, Andheri - e.
I had not even used the sandals for 4 hours also and the stiching and straps of the sandal came out, because of which i had to purchase a new sandal cause I was out of mumbai and could not return the same defective sandals to your store again. It is cleary a manufacturing defect and a brand such as WOODLAND if comes up with such a poor quality, it is not acceptable.
I had contacted your sales person Mr. Paresh at the sakinaka store named as M/S EARTHLINE APPARELS PVT. LTD., located at SAKINAKA, ANDHERI -E, MUMBAI - 400 072 regarding the problem faced by me, and had cleary mentioned him that i don't want these sandals to be repaired and want my money to be refunded, because i cannot wear such product in which i faced the problems in the start and hence a mindset is made to not to wear the same product.
The sales person at your store told me that he will send the product and you will get the reply after 15 days, which i feel is totally unfair on the part of the customer.
I feel a company like WOODLAND would respect for the feelings of his customer and will do the needfull.

please reply me within a period of three days.

Dear Sir,
I have purchased one pair of woodland shoe from their authorised Retail sale outlet " AERO CLUB, Woodland store , AERO CLUB, WOODLAND, BLOCK NO 37 E WARD, TARABAI PARK. KOLHAPUR , mashrashtra, India Tel. NO.[protected]. RETAIL INVOICE TIN NO [protected]V and bill no. 3115
on date 24 augest 2009 .suddenly after 4 month pasting of sole removed . we were very much surpresed that companey is charging almost double of market prise of their quality and when in this case we submeeted this shoe pair to their delear they told us to send it to delhi for repairing . on date 18 dec 2009 they returned us repaired shoes but on 22 dec 2009 again pasting of shoe removed , immideatily i reached to the delear they told us to repair it locally but when someone is buying a shoe of rs. 2245.00 , how one can accept this kind of double and double repairing of new shoes. i never thought this things about woodland a branded companey of the whole world.so give me you suggestion what i do? will u replaced it to me or repaired it again and again
