[Resolved]  YOU Telecom India Pvt Ltd — not refunding the deposit

Hi,

My complain is against You telecom India pvt ltd, Ahmedabad. They are not refunding my deposit (Rs.2000, paid on 23/11/07) which I paid for the modem. I had applied for closing account in 2nd week of Jan'09. They are not closing my account and not even responding to any emails sent to their Nodal officer (Shriram Karjagi) and Appellate Authority (Manoj Nair). I had sent 5 emails to both the authorities. But, not a single email is replied.

The details are as follows.

I had subscribed their broadband services from Jan 2008. I had booked their diwali bonanza scheme in october 2008 and paid Rs. 1680 for one year. Since I shifted my residence in Jan 2009, I requested them to shift the connection. They denied that they will not provide service in new residence. So I applied to close the account and refund my money. They have also taken back the modem from me. Now they are not even closing my account, not even refunding me the remaining amount which I paid for full year and not even refunding the deposit of the modem. Above all these, the Appellate Authority doesn't even reply the email.

I have the complete details of the emails sent to them requesting to solve the problem.

Please help me getting my hard earned money back.

you telecom internet service provider — Non Refund of Deposit Amount

I had connection with this ISP a/c no 198437. which I asked for disconnection upon their in ability to provide connections at my new address, however after 2 month long delay I was informed that there was feasibility problem in my area & they could not provide the service.
After which I asked them to disconnect & refund the deposit amount & the transfer amount which I had paid which they said will be refunded to me after 2 months this all happened in month of june 2007 in september I approached them again which they said they will inform me with in a week , now It is horrible the customer service as It is now more then 6 month & sitll to hear from them.

you telecom — Improper service

It has already been more than a week that i have lodged a complaint against our internet service not working properly. But it seems that the customer care providers are there only for the sake og giving false commitments. Everyday someone from my home called them n they just assure us that they are sending someone to look into it but all seems to go in vain.

YOU Telecom India Pvt Ltd — improper service and non payment of deposits

i have opted for the broad band connection of above company, the main problem was that they dont post my bill on my billing address and suggest us to see online which i was against as i feel it is there responsiblity to give bill to customer so that i can reembusrse from my office, at all time i had to pay to their collection agent ,so at last i cancelled their service and ask for my deposit which they said they will post my cheque and collected their modem which was in month of april and now after 4 months when i inquire they said that it has been adjust against my payment which details they dont bother to give me,my main question are as under
I feel they should raise bill in my name and see that it is reaching me
if suppose my dues were higher than my deposit they should have call me at once for the remaining amount
now they are saying that my dues were adjusted ,it is their responsiblity to give me account of my deposits and dues

you telecom — Non refund of deposit

Hi ,

I have registered an account 495011 with You-Telecom.I had paid for deposit charges for personal modem on 22nd May 2009. But at the time of installation i used the shared modem which was avaialble on the terace of my building.
i have lodged various complaints for the refund of this deposti money (more than 10-12 complaints),But of no use.Yet the refund of the deposit is pending.
