On 20th June, 2023 I placed an order for 450 ml of cow milk and 900 ml of Ghee, priced at Rs 26 and Rs 497 respectively. I have screenshots of the bill, confirming the total amount as Rs 523 (497 + 26). However, upon delivery on 21st June, 2023 the amount was increased to Rs 690 (Rs 649 for Ghee + Rs 41 for Milk), resulting in a discrepancy of Rs[protected].
I lodged a complaint with the Country Delight team, but there has been no response yet.
As a customer, I firmly believe that it is the company's responsibility to deliver orders promptly, without penalizing customers. For instance, if my Amazon Prime membership expires today and I place an order before midnight, the billing should be based on the order placement date, irrespective of the delivery time.
It is disheartening to observe that my order was not adjusted to account for my active VIP membership, and I find this to be an ethical concern.
