[Resolved] Country Vacations — Fraudulent dealings | |||
Dear Sir / Madam, I, Amit Dhanaki, had been called by Country Club Vacations (Mr. Hemant, Mrs. Ameet & Mrs. Preeti of CCIL Bhandup Branch, Mumbai) on 14th September 2014 with the proposal of getting registered for their membership. We (Myself & my wife) visited them on the same day. In respect of membership, CCIL offered us a lot of promises with a prize of Rs.80, 000/- (Rupees Eighty thousand only/-) which on the basis of their promises we accepted the agreement and paid the same amount through my HDFC credit card. I am listing some of the promises which had been offered to us: 1) Every year the AMC cost will be waived off 2) The membership fee of Rs.80, 000/- is refundable 3) Member will receive Gold coins if they recommend someone else to them 4) And many more... On 15th September 2014 I read the written agreement and found out that all the promises which CCIL had made are invalid / void. And since then i.e. from the second day itself we are following for our refund. We visited their office, talked to them, sent emails but no respond from them. I want to stop such fraudulent activities and am really frustrated. I request all the concerned authority to take this issue very seriously and do the needful. I, Amit Dhanaki had again visited CCIL office Bhandup Branch to resolve this issue. There I met Mr. Aniket Tawade where he was managing the said office. They heard my whole issue about how I had been cheated but no support had been received from their end. From them I also got to know that like me there are many more victims who are still fighting for their refunds. In fact, due to continuous follow up from the victims, they have closed all their operations in Bhandup branch and now no one is available to resolve our problem.
I had paid RS. 80, 000/- which is not a small amount for a common middle class family. I need my hard earned money back which CCIL cannot take so easily.
I request all the concerned higher legal authority to visit this matter in detail. I am sure you will get a big scam happening in CCIL.
For other victim members, I request all of you just don't be quite about your problem. You all will have to step out and fight for your right. If one branch can be closed then all others may too...
