I along with my wife had taken the cox & kings fascinating far east 11 days /10 nights days tour package to
Thailand, malaysia, and singapore from 27 nov to 07 dec 2014 through their pune office (File reference : 2014obt1532888). We were just eight o[censored]s in this group. Since it was an guaranteed tour the
Tour was just organized as a filler and cox & kings outsourced it through local travel operators without indulgence at responsible level so as to ensure quality of tour with particular reference to the hotels and restaurants.
The experience has been very bad for the following reasons:
Hotel accommodation was sub standard (Not even 2 star rating), except in malaysia, considering what we were promised and paid for. List of hotels / restaurants given on last day before departure, that too after asking for it repeatedly.
Tour was mostly unguided. Drivers, who could not converse in english, were touted as guides in malaysia.
Many meals were catered for in stinking, unhygienic restaurants. Perforce we had to eat outside and spent our own money on number of occasions.
No instructions / guidance were provided at water parks/resorts; as a result we wasted our time finding input in
Foreign land having communication problems in english.
No feedback has been asked / taken by respective countries tour operators nor asked for after the completion of tour by cox & kings.
After three months of the complaint, the company has expressed regret on six counts in their response and not responding to giving compensation for deficiency in service Was this information helpful? |
