Travel date - 23rd to 28th dec 2017 to bhutan (Ex kolkata)

Believe me, you would want to avoid cox and kings for your holidays
I enquired for a trip on holdayiq around a month back
From there cox and kings mumbai office (Call center, ajay gupta and rushab) somehow after discussion for 2-3 days and lot of follow-ups from them, they convinced me to pay the booking amount of 11k with a promise of discount that would surely be given only once the booking is done
I did the initial booking with 11k, but no 1 to respond back on the amount paid, after lot of calls i am able to reach the contact person and citing transaction failure at receiving end he made me pay 11k twice with initial 11k to revert back to me in few days. Later they confirm receiving the amount twice and both transactions being successful and with assurance to adjust the amount in final payment.
For each and every thing i had to follow up to reach ajay 100s of times simply getting to hear multiple alibis - "he is not available at his seat", "he has not come to office", "he is busy on some other call", "we will arrange a callback", "his supervisor/lead will call me back", "send a mail on some mail-id to get any traction", but the callback would never come and i would be made to call again and again and again.
He had promised of some discount post booking confirmation for which again i had to follow so many multiple times (I shared multiple personal mails with other executives actually giving discounts), but finally nothing at all, a big zero on discount.
While another 2 different executives from different cox and kings offices seemed very very responsive and were giving me the discount actually. I repent my decision of going with cox and kings and that too with mumbai office
Then again there is lull on communication and no further processing of the case or replies to the mail till i callback myself 2.5 weeks from actual travel date, enquiring on update, there i hear from kapil casually "pay by 23rd december for travel on 23rd jan", hardly realizing the travel is on 23rd dec.
As if, there is no tracking and no seriousness on anything at all
I had already paid the full amount - initial 2* 11k.
Then they deny 2nd payment of 11k, i shared my credit card bill too for the 2 separate charges of 11k, but they would not care at all, asking me to pay the entire amount before they will release the tickets and other details and to follow up with the bank on my own. Till today there is no followup/update from their side.
Here again i was made followup 100s of times, without an iota of responsibility shown from their side, when i am forced to pay the entire amount (With 11k loss, i didn’t want to spoil my holiday still) and the tickets were no where in sight till what hardly 24 hours before the journey

The above headache was not enough and it continued on the trip too.

The hotels promised were 4 star while convincing me to buy and the names shared initially were not the ones actually booked for us. Provided hotels were 1/no star at all with very limited and pathetic food quality and no variety, no proper provision of hot water in 2 of the 3 hotels provided, staff saying hot water is 'over'. No basic provision of brush, paste or bare minimum shaving stuff. Bedbugs for free and dirty linen.

The only saving grace has been our tour guide and generic soft nature of the people of bhutan all across, rest cox and kings is a nightmare.

Cox and kings don't sell holidays, they are selling 'torture' to customers that too at high price

Avoid these cheats at all cost

I have travelled the world over very many times and your dum idiots at cox and kings don't and can't answer straight to my questions on a dubai thing I was considering from cox and Kings.
They are doing advertising on net but not answering properly.
