I recently tried cox & kings in goa for a tour pack to egypt. (I'm an nri, so my travel companion in goa coordinated with them) at the start, the branch staff's response was good & they verbally provided most of the info we needed. However, when he asked them to send it via email — for the record — the 'good' abruptly ended. No email ever came, and when my friend called them they claimed it had been sent already & that they'd ask their it department to check why it wasn't going. I too sent them an email asking that they send the info to my email address to rule out the destination address as a point-of-failure. No response came...
As i was explaining to my friend, this might very well have been a case of the staff seeing us as a 'low potential' business opportunity, hence the very poor support. (Either that or the staff of the it department has been underpaid or was then on strike)
The quality of customer support has a significant impact on business in the long run — so i hope cox & kings improves theirs. Was this information helpful? |
