[Resolved] Cox & Kings India — poor service and no response from the company to my complaint | |
I would not recommend using cox & kings for any travel bookings. We recently undertook a tour to russia (St petersburg and moscow) using them and had an absolutely terrible experience. They are highly unreliable and unresponsive. They completely misrepresented the itinerary, the quality of the hotel; we were put up in a sub standard hotel, which was nothing like what we were promised. We felt unsafe, had unnecessary mental agony and felt harassed – which was completely unacceptable. We tried to call them from russia – but found them to be completely unresponsive. We have written to them after getting back but are yet to get a response; an apology or compensation i am guessing is out of the question. Pls use your hard earned money elsewhere – they are absolutely not to be trusted. Was this information helpful? | |

Over all very dissatisfied with the tour as it was badly mismanaged by Cox & kings.
Firstly delay in handing over of all documents prior to the departure, including VISA etc
Secondly, breach in commitment for a hotel stay at a three star & above, for example Azimut hotel at St Petrsburg was made but however a substandard hotel was provided at the last minute without any prior information
This has resulted in inconvenience, discomfort & mental harassment during the trip. I should therefore be compensated for the difference between the service promised and provided as also the mental harassment.
