I have enrolled for the cpp card protection plan last year. This year I chose to upgrade my debit to coral which has provided me with free one year cpp plan. I’ve got the renewal kit from cpp and chose to ignore it since I have to one year free plan. But cpp has debited amount from my account on 5th July which clearly states for renwal. I understood there was a misunderstanding with the two plans so I called up the customer care service and clearly explained. I mentioned that an amount of 2049 rs. has been deducted from my account for renewal. They checked their systems twice and they replied that cpp has not debited any money and they are asking me to approach my bank for the problem. They are supposed to protect us from these kind of frauds but whereas they are the ones that loot us from our account. The TRANSACTION HAS BEEN MADE WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and neither did I receive any message of the debited amount from my bank. I have uploaded my bank statement which clearly states cpp has debited for renewal on 5th July 2018 of rs. 2049/-.
