[Resolved]  Crizal — varilux

I had purchased a progressive eyewear from lawrence and mayo one of the reputed opticians in chennai at a cost of about 12000 for in july 2016. Recently this has developed distortion and is unclear to read. I took this with the warranty card to the same place where this was purchased however they turned me down and said a new one has to be purchased. This is clearly not a usage or handling problem. It is a manufacturing defect as there is no scratch or it was not exposed to heat. It was always kept in the box. I certainly believe there is no reason for me to go in for crizal varilux any longer as the warranty is not honored and not worth paying so high for a sub standard product.
