[Resolved] Croma — dell laptop and aquaguard water purifier | |||
I bought 2 products from croma and faced poorest customer service in both of them. You'll did not help me with the technical fault with the dell laptop which is under warranty and made me run from post to pillar to get it sorted. The representative in croma connected me to another technician who asked me 2000 rs to remove my hard disk which i did for free of cost in the authorized service centre. Also, i bought the product in march 2017and the dell records show it was purchased in jan 2017 which is the month they shipped it to croma. Croma didn’t update that in dell records and the customer service representative in croma in phoenix market city, kurla is asking me to call dell and ask them to update in their system. My 2nd product is a water purifier which i purchased a year ago with 2 years extended warranty. After a year i came to know that it was partnered with a 3rd party warranty company whom croma had to pay the money they took for me for the extended warranty. When lodged a request for the repair, the technician from the brand company asked me to pay as they weren’t aware of any extended warranty. He told me that it is a big racket where croma takes money from its customers for the extended warranty but doesn’t pay it to the 3rd party company. So whenever there is an issue, the customer has to pay first and then gets that amount reimbursed from the 3rd party company called onsitego. But if there is no repair in the extended warranty period, all the money goes in croma's pocket. When i checked with onsitego, they told me that there are not tied up with a few brands and hence the customer has to pay first which croma does not tell the customer while purchasing the product.
