[Resolved] Croma — Faulty product being forced to retain within 10 days of purchase. | |||
Recently on the 15th of November, 2015 I bought a Croma 3G Tablet from your store in Bangalore’s Mantri Mall (Malleswaram) to gift it to my wife on her birthday. But after using it for around 10 days the battery started draining very fast and while on internet it never lasted for even 2 hours, thou the specifications on the box says that the battery has a stand-by of 8-to-10 hours. I complained about this to the Customer Service Desk at the store and a lady named Shweta took the tablet to be checked by their technicians and promise a call back within two days. They called after a week to inform me that the tablet as “checked” by their technician and is absolutely fine and should be taken back by me. I tried to make her understand that the problem being faced by me was genuine and the battery longevity is really bad. But she never wanted to listen and was adamant on me taking the product back. I never accepted this treatment and left the product as it was a product fault and should not be handed back to me. Then I tried contacting the Croma Customer Service Helpline number and tried conveying my problems to them. After repeatedly calling and making them understand for a week and a half and talking to every workers and supervisors there namely Su Shree and Kamal, my problem is still lying as it was. I am been forced to accept a product which has been used hardly for 10 days and whose battery life is not according to its specifications and which is having a product fault. I also told them that the product had in-built apps which was acting like a malware and needs to be checked for its better performance. But till now my request has no heeds and the product is still lying in the store. I would request you to please look into the matter and solve it, as I have been a Croma customer from a very long time and this treatment is totally un-acceptable from a company of your stature.
