Respected sir,

Today i went to your DMART store at AIROLI sector 10A. I had purchase some item from your mall.when i have paid amount that time cash counter person told me that if you want carrybag you should pay the money.But the carry bag he is given to me is printed with your mall name and some types of advertisement. If you are advertising on your carrybag you should not take money.Otherwise if you want money you should not advertise and should keep the another plain carry bag.
we are paying money for carrybag and you are advertising of your company.
In Government GR is their any instruction to take a money from customer and advertise your mall

    Hi,

    On 5th-June-2011, I purchased two sleeve less Knitshrunks (Banian). It was written in the store that "Plz do not open the packing" for the hosiery items. I did purchase (Rs.208) two VIP banians after looking at the packaging (photo) and without opening it up. But after a weeks time when I opened a pack for using it, I found that it was banian with sleeves. There was no mention of the type of banian packed inside on the outer packaging, only a misleading photo was printed on that.
    I did approach the store on next day for a replacement, but got a replay that the items sold can't be exchanged after a weeks time.
    I want my items to be replaced with the one I require, because I should not be paying for the stores mistake.

    I do have the original bill and the photo of the signage put on the hosiery rack of the store.

    It was a very bad experience on 1st July 2011 at around 12 noon I visited D’ mart- pune located on Aga khan palace road,
    I was very shocked and surprised to hear from the D’ Mart employee Mr. Atish Gaikwad coming towards one of my friend and ordering him to disconnect the phone call (as my friend was talking on his personal mobile phone with his family). The reason he was told is that they (D’ mart) don’t allow talking on phones and sharing offers/MRP to friends or family. Mr. Gaikwad was using tough language and not at-all having manners to speak to a customer. He straight away started blaming that you have come here to disclose the rates (I think he has used “Bench Marking” term) to their competitors. Then my friend also was very upset as he was visiting for the first time from Bangalore to pune and that too in D’mart store. It was also very embarrassing situation for me, and then instead of arguing with Mr. Gaikwad, we thought of speaking to the Store Manager on this issue. Firstly he himself was pretending to be a floor manger and the main store manager is on leave- was told to us. The argument lasted for almost 20 to 25 minutes & then requesting to another employee standing nearby guided us to manager’s cabin. Before we could meet the Manger Mr. Gaikwad already reached him and informed him all the matter in his style,
    I showed him the last dialled numbers (they were all Papa, Mummy, Nilesh- Bro, etc) and also informed him how Mr. Gaikawad started the argument without even thinking about D Mart’s image. But Now instead of apologising or saying sorry the Manger (Mr. Onil) too supported his employee and informed us to next time come with family members rather than keep on calling every one and informing them the best rates. This was height of nonsense people in D Mart. Then i requested the manager to show us about the company’s term and conditions or any policy letter stating not to use phone while shopping or not to disclose the rates to anyone.
    I am having the full voice recording of the argument between us and D Mart’s mangers.
    It was for the first time I came to know from D’mart that talking on phone is not allowed while shopping (Mr. Atish gaiwad’s courtesy) next time I will never visit the store and suggest other too the same.

Reached the manager Mr Sushant to get this issued noticed, the response we got from him was " asa incident tho regular basis pe hota rehata hai uspe hum kya kar sakte hai". This response was not expected from the manager. This is not the customer service we are expecting from the staff. When asked the manager what's the next step the manager asked to clean our self and stand under the hot sun to get our self dried. The quote of the manager was pathetic. Manager stated " I cannot do anything else for you"

    I Felt what the hell is this that if the manager is un able to resolve the issue of the customer then why is he there? Please get this issue resolved ASAP.

    Being your regular customer I am expecting a positive and a speedy response from your end.

    you have to bear in mind that each store is handled independently so whatever you say will always be heard by the one-sided management of that particular store... However if you mention this in the complaints section of the company website, the complaints are addressed directly by the head-office of the Dmart enterprise... that has much more of an effect than you can imagine, i have done this activity with another ice cream company and gotten a response within two days after which material was delivered on the 4th day by the company directly at my doorstep without me going anywhere... Case point here is great customer service for that quick response plus the fact that they actually heard me out..

    You have to bring such issues to the notice of the company management... all the lower/middle-level store employees probably are not even concerned by the image of Dmart, the very store they represent... but if reported to a head office, a lost customer who faced customer dissatisfaction truly makes heads spin.
    I PURCHASE NON-STICKY FRY PAN OF 1 YEAR WARRANTY FROM SOLAPUR OUTLET IN MAY 2012. IT STARTED STICKING ALL MATERIALS WHEN COOK IN DEC 2012 WITHIN 7MONTH.WHEN V APPROACH IN DEC 2012 TO YOUR MANAGER FOR CHANGE HE REFUSE TO DO SO WITHOUT BILL.WHERE AS WE WERE CARRYING WARRANTY CARD OF D"MART AND TREATED IN WRONG MANNERS. WHEN WE SHOWED HIM THAT MANUFACTURING DATE IS ALSO WITHIN YEAR TIME.WHEN WE GIVEN HIM WRITTEN COMPLAINT AND ASKED HIM TO GIVE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT HE REFUSE TO GIVE SO.
    APART FROM THIS THEY NEVER GIVES FREE GOODS ON PURCHASING.ALL D'MART STAFF BEHAVE LIKE THEY DON'T NEED COSTUMERS.

      Retailing is at its peak... Customers are favored like never before.. And at Such times, D Mart presents itself as one of the most unfriendly Retail outlet...

      It has a security system where every bag carried in by women are sealed at entrance in another stinky smelly bag which you are forced to carry around. which is unsealed when you reach the cash counter.

      Secondly it has either these huge push around trolleys or these plastic baskets to carry things around. You are bound to bump into things or people atleast 5 times during each visit there..

      But the most disappointing incident which made me put this up on the internet is their attitude towards customers.
      My company as a reward for some scheme provided me with a hamper including vouchers for Dmart. The vouchers were valid for 12 months, after 5 months when i finally decided to use them i visited the store at Mulund. Since they were kept for 5 month, the signature on the seal was faded to the extent of being invisible on one besides the ink mark.

      The store employees refuse to accept the voucher. It still bore the issue date and seal. And morevoer, when i pushed that i need to talk to the higher authority, the concerned person refused to meet me.

      This is utter insensitivity, that to for a transaction that's already paid for.

      purchased garnier L FA 50ml in Dmart-Garuda on 29 june 2011 (Wed)and when i went to home and found that there was nothing inside the Gariner box and i was shocked and i searched in all my bags but i could not found them .Then i realised that i had cheated .
      It was surprise that such this happens in such big shops.
      on 2 july saturday i went to Dmart Garuda and gave a complaint that there was empty inside the Gariner box but they did not respond properly.

      The cost might be very small but such things i did not expect .

      In future it might happen to some other persons for high value.
      So i have given the complaint .

        Dear Sir/Madam

        I purchased item from D-mart, Kopar Kharaine, Navi Mumbai on 5th May 2011.
        They made Excess Payment of Rs.300/-Make complain on 6th. I got call from Dmart they told excess payment refund in next 2 days. But till date they not making any refund. Continue follow up they do not give any respond when payment is refund. Every time they committed 2-3 days time.

          I had been charged twice for a single item at DMart, Hinjewadi, PUNE. I noticed it immediately after the cashier punched the same item for more than once. I called up the manager immediately. Inspite of seeing the mischarge they said it happened by mistake and did not want to correct the same. Later I thought of quitting and not buying from this outlet. Though I clearly saw it was done purposefully. Further to this, they have kept all their weighing machines for loose items purposefully below the fans, so that it weighs more than actuals. I think their license should be cancelled for such cheating behaviours with customers.

            yesterday on[protected] we went to D-MART PSR AVENUE SUPERMARTS PVT. LTD., IN THIS MALL LOTS OF INSETS AND CACROCHES URUDAL PULSES AND OTHER GRAINS , I AS SUPERVISOR HE TOLD SOME COCROCHES AND INSETS IS THERE OK. WHAT IS THIS THIS IS A BIG SHOPPING MALL WHY NOT MONITOR THE ALL GRAINS AND PULSES , WHY NOT GRADING AND CLEAN THE FOOD ITEMS. THIS IS VERY BAD EXPERIENCE IN FIRST TIME IN MY HISTORY THIS A BIG SUPER MARKET, THIS IS NOT ORDINARY MARKET, BUT THIS SUPER MARKET MANAGERS ALSO NOT DO THERE DUTIES AND THEY SHOULD NOT MONITOR THIS TYPE OF PROBLEMS , WHY NOT RESPOND THE MY COMPLAINT AND WHY NOT THEY RAPID RESPOND, THEY PLAY WITH CUSTOMERS.               Dear Sir,
              We regularly buy our monthly groceries and all items from Dmart, Mulund West. On 12th Dec 2010, eveing we had visited Dmart and purchased all items and was billed to tune of Rs.3319.28. The billing was completed and the counter clerks loaded our trolleys. On reaching home, we noticed that 1 entire plastic bag containing 2k Detergent soap, 1 bath soap, 2 Detergernt Soap Bar, 1 Lizol , 1 scotchbrite, 1 parachuite oil bottle was not present in the entire trolley at all. We have complained and last 4 days, there has been no positive response from the company. I have asked the company to check the CCTV footage since I am sure, there has been some misplacement when the counter clerk has loaded the trolleys after billing
              The amount involved is over Rs.500- and we need compensation from Dmart, Mulund WEst

              DMart — THEFT OF PURSE

              MY PURSE which had my house keys, telephone & good cash amount IS STOLEN WITHIN THE PREMISES OF DMART & THEY REFUSE TO CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY< I AM GOING TO FILE AN FIR TONIGHT AGAINST THE COMPANY.

              DMart — Display of A rated movies on cash counters

              The store displays very conspicuously DVDs pf Dirty Picture an A rated movie on all cash counters. This being a family store this should not be allowed. The manager in the store said no action can be taken when I complained to him.

                I have purchased a ALPHA TROLLY BAG'
                Color- Blue, Barcode No - [protected], Invoice No-600 9/10/09 from D-Mart Koperkhairane, Navi Mumbai.

                Due to some manufacturing defect, i submitted the bag to DMART KK branch(date- 3rd oct 2010, Invoice No- 1329) as it was still under warranty period.

                It has been more then a month now, DMART offcials(Navin Singh) are not willing to take any action regarding the same neither they call up or replace their defective product back. Rather they come up with reasons which are not satisfactory. As a regular customer of DMART this is annoying.

                Kindly request you to take proper action against this and replace me with the above mentioned product else I will be forced to take drastic action which could be a complain in the Consumer forum.

                  1. Parking is a major problem. The basement parking at the Chinchwad mall is not getting used and there is very little parking space in the DMART compound.
                  2. The shopping carts cannot be pushed towards the car because of railings, so it is very inconvenient to transfer the bags to our vehicles.
                  3. Inadequate number of shopping carts. I have seen people waiting to take the shopping carts from exiting shoppers as soon as contents are offloaded.

                  The above 3 issues make shopping a bad experience at DMART, so I may move on to Big Bazaar, on the opposite side of the road.

                  i am not agree to this the shopping in d mart is the best one the cheapest rate good quality we cant get in other place flexible rate shopping by meddile person also.
                  i dis agree towards the same as the people face some issue related to parking but the product quality is v good in cheap rate good for all type of people.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I have bought a school bag from D-mart on 10th July 2010 for my nephew studying in a 7th standard.
                    This bag is manufactured by alpa and it costed me 300Rs. My nephew started using this bag on 16 July 10 and in just four days its belt stitching is torn, Its stitching came out, tore up. It is aery low quality bag they sold me.
                    When I did the complaint on 31th july they told me that they are not responsible for this. I talked with their branch manager Sushil Khairnar and requested him to show this faulty bag to manufacturer but they gave arrogant reply.
                    I bought this bag from D-Mart because I thought they sell good quality bags.But even after registering complaint I haven’t got any reply from their side. I think they are just looking for profit only
                    Kindly take action against them. I have all the proofs. Also guide me for the legal action

                      I have purchased on double bed bed sheet from D'Mart Kolhapur store on 13.06.2010 cash memo no CD-1158. Within 10 days only the bed sheet was torn in center. My wife went to show the bed sheet to D'mart staff and ask for replacement. However the staff refused to do so and on the contrary abused my wife saying you yourself have torn the bedsheet to claim the replacement. The behaviour and services of the staff was rude. Particularly not in acceptable manner when behaving with customer particularly women. The cost price of Bed Sheet was only Rs.249/- Myself is AGM is Public Sector Bank. How can a wife of HNI client bear an insult of saying we have done it for claim of Rs.250/- only. She was humiliated and left the bedsheet on the counter and went back home. After she narrated instance to me i am filing this complaint against Staff Mr. Ram Billari who has misbehaved with my wife and the store in which she has been insulted for Rs.250/- transaction. I request forum to take cognizance of the event and take appropriate action against D'Mart Kolhapur and its staff.

                      I agrree with u .Staff employed in D mart have no basic manners.They treat their customers like beggars who have come to take things from them "FREE OF COST
                      I do agree with you. Staff working in D'Mart are manner less. Today I had been mart & approach the counter for payment after selecting articles costing about. Rs. 4000. But staff refused to sell some articles . I asked why ? But. Staff was reluctant to tell any thing, just he said it's our right. Nonsense manner lesss behavior of staff. I refused to purchase other material & left mart. If anybody from high level in charge from mart want to contact me on this matter is most welcome.

                        I purchased few groceries from DMart malad outlet today i.e. 31.3.10 and the bill came up to 257.50 and i paid in cash by giving a 500 rupee note. the cashier asked me if i could give her a 10 rupee note. i did. she owed me rs. 252.50 now which the computer too showed promptly. i shop in this place regularly as i live next door. so there are times when you trust them with the change. however i was asked to move as there was another customer waiting. i checked the bill and went back saying she had given less. she said it was an error and offered to pay me the money, i asked her how she can be wrong when the bill says it in bold how much she owes me, she mocked me and asked me to just take the change. i asked for the manager, every executive misled me. finally the manager asked me to give a written complaint. i have given a complaint. this is the third time am getting cheated! the cashier's name is nikita - her code is NN/02, time - 8: 11 pm they anyway cheat us by giving us chocolates instead of money whether we want or not. they round off the amounts too! please take action with these people

                        I have been to D'Mart Vasna Road Vadodara, I was suppose to return a single thing which was billed by mistake, I took help of Costemer Care of same Location.

                        There was Dhruwangi in Costemer Care she is very rude. Her behave was not like costemer care ppl. she was not about explain anything. she blundly said no. I got debate with her.

                        Now I want to know is there any process or schedual for the prolem?

                          During several visits I was given candy in place of balance of money due. When asked, the cashier always claims shortage of change. I have seen this happening to almost all the customers of the the stores. I have complained about this illegal practice o[censored]sing substitute items for legal tender and always the managers seem to laugh it off. All the cash registers have dozens of candies and the cashiers treat these as cash. How many customers are being duped all over is a matter worth investigating,

                            I was a regular customer of D-MART in Hiranandani. But It happened at least 4 times, when I bought products from D-MART, the products especially the food items about to expired on the same day I purchased them. I cant understand how can they not remove these products from the shelf. Once I had an argument with one of the service man, and he said, I could still eat the bread and finish it on the same day, so they keep it on shelf. I opened the bread and the last two breads had green fungus on it.

                            Moreover, when I bought Weetabix, there were these bugs in it. Its an expensive products. Either weetabix should provide it in tight containers/ or DMart should ensure, the products packages are protected. They did not give refund me bcoz, I had lost the receipt.

                            when you buy atleast 50 items, its hard to check the expiry of each and every item. Shouldn't it be the retail store manager's responsibility to ensure the items that are expired removed from the shelf.

                            I rather buy breads from birdies and eggs from meat mart and grains from grain wholesale mart. Atleast its open and you can check the quality before purchasing it.

                            How do you sue such companies, and so they provide quality food items.

                            Retailing is at its peak... Customers are favored like never before.. And at Such times, D Mart presents itself as one of the most unfriendly Retail outlet...

                            It has a security system where every bag carried in by women are sealed at entrance in another stinky smelly bag which you are forced to carry around. which is unsealed when you reach the cash counter.

                            Secondly it has either these huge push around trolleys or these plastic baskets to carry things around. You are bound to bump into things or people atleast 5 times during each visit there..

                            But the most disappointing incident which made me put this up on the internet is their attitude towards customers.
                            My company as a reward for some scheme provided me with a hamper including vouchers for Dmart. The vouchers were valid for 12 months, after 5 months when i finally decided to use them i visited the store at Mulund. Since they were kept for 5 month, the signature on the seal was faded to the extent of being invisible on one besides the ink mark.

                            The store employees refuse to accept the voucher. It still bore the issue date and seal. And morevoer, when i pushed that i need to talk to the higher authority, the concerned person refused to meet me.

                            This is utter insensitivity, that to for a transaction that's already paid for.

                              Sir,
                              I bought a pair of stretchable trousers on 18th September 2009from D mart Malad and I find that it was used/second hand with visible evidence of damage and repair. It is ridiculous for a shop to sell used clothe as new. The bill for Rs. 269/ is with me. I have sent a complaint to you a week back but go no response.
                              Please take immediate action against the shop as this is outright cheating .

                                Dear sir,
                                I have purchased undergarments from the above mall(D-mart), But by mistaken i chose wrong size of it. Again the bill was destroyed by me. And ask them to exchane it, but they are refusing it to do the same.
                                I know that they have records of bills in there computer, but they are saying that you should come at time given by him. But i am doing a job, so it is not poassible to go there at the time specified by them.
                                So can you answer my question?
                                What the malls are doing with customer is justice or not?

                                  I have purchased Lijjat Papad (Lijjat Punja 250g) from D Mart, Vallabh Vidyanagar - 388120 Gujarat on June 30, 2009.

                                  I was quite surprised when I notice the packing date was printed on this pack July 2009 batch no. 92. Contacted to care taker of this D Mart, but he was unable to give any satisfactory answer on this.

                                  Is it fact by such type of tactic companies are selling their expired product to customer.

                                    I have been for purchase in your kolhapur department store, on date06/06/09 vide bill noBD-1579 in that the man who is A STORE MANAGER, i asked him my material to be packed in some diffrent carry bags as per my suitability, as my materials where all eatbels for travellings to be given in bus, he told he cannot do so, on that,
                                    I told him " if, you peopel cannot co oprate in this small arrangments, then we shall think for visiting your store in future " he told clearly, : YOu MAY NOT VISIT THE STORE AGAIN: .
                                    IS this the way to treat the customer in your d mart stores.
                                    i mate written complaint with my cell nunber in your store on same time, but there is no any positive responce,
                                    may that person had taken that complaint chit from complaint box.
                                    all these thing have been recorded in your cammeras of store, pls do check.

                                      I have a very serious complaint with DMART STAFF, INCLUDING the higher level positon at their offce.
                                      I had complaint to their stores regarding one brand, that is RAJLAXMI PEANUTS WHICH I HAD BOUGHT IN BULK from their store, and after consuming it we had fallen sick, I had brought this matter to their Manger who are in higher post, His Name was MR. AJAY.. He had taken my compalint and promised me that he will take the action and somebody from their departemt will get in touch with me. and its almost more than 15 DAYS, I am still waiting for their call. This is really paththatic, they dont have any manners, even their receptionist at their main head office. I would like to bring this in notice to take the serious action agaist them. They are very irresponsible towards their customer, I will also take this matter to Mr Damani.

                                      i agree. Stores like D Mart treat the customers like a dead rate the moment customer seek to redress his grievance. Even international companies like Gillette behave strangely in India.
                                      My family members and I are users of Gillette Mach 3 System Razor and Blades since last several years. Frequently I purchase Gillette Mach 3 Razor with a Blade when we want to change the razor. On 25th April 2010 I purchased a razor, rubber covering of the razor came out by 27th April. In May 2010 I returned the razor to D Mart Kandivli West Complaint Counter and purchased a new one.
                                      But till this date I have not received any response either from D Mart or Gillette. I wonder whether Gillette could have behaved like this in any other country like US Canada UK or any other European Countries

                                      i am sorry for all you guys but one should actually be a bit liberal. dmart actually is a shoppers paradise where every product is sold at best price tags and which makes it value for money and small mistakes or human errors are bound to happen with so much crowd hovering in the store. i agree one should volunteer to complaint the staff of the store and bring it to notice of the staff but making issue out of it and jeopardize the topic is not justified.

                                      This is a very sad incident I would like to bring to your notice which I faced on 25/10/11. The coca cola bottle blasted on our face. Reached the manager Mr Sushant to get this issued noticed, the response we got from him was " asa incident tho regular basis pe hota rehata hai uspe hum kya kar sakte hai". This response was not expected from the manager. This is not the customer service we are expecting from the staff. When asked the manager what's the next step the manager asked to clean our self and stand under the hot sun to get our self dried. The quote of the manager was pathetic. Manager stated " I cannot do anything else for you"

                                      I Felt what the hell is this that if the manager is un able to resolve the issue of the customer then why is he there? Please get this issue resolved ASAP.

                                      Being your regular customer I am expecting a positive and a speedy response from your end.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I had gone to D MART to do my purchasing, i found long queues for payments as some of the cash counters were not working, i brought this to the notice of the D MART people, who directed me to the supervisor MR. DEVENDRA PRASAD, his behaviour was very rude and he was chatting with medical people inside the premises of D MART . He told me you better live this place and do not come back .

                                        Kindly let me know what could be done. This incident occurred today on 5th April 09 around 3.30 pm at thane D mart west near Garden view

                                        These kind of Employees are not right to work in that kind of Retail Business, , it could be defame of the company and also spoil other employees too, I request you to remove him such a bad employees which does not have a patience and come for time pass instead of doing their duties from the job immediately. And finally I request the Management not to repeat again such incidents.

                                        My personal suggestion, to give special Professional Training for all employees who does the job relate to the Customers.
