Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company [Dgvcl] — Regarding damage to home appliances due to electricity power interruption and fluctuations.

I am a resident of C-201, Nilkanth Avenue, Pal, Village: Surat (M Corp+OG), (Part), Taluka: Surat City, District: Surat (Address as per DGVCL Electricity Bill), Consumer number: [protected].

In the last few days, particularly on 04th of July, 2025, tentatively at around 11.00 PM till approximately 3.00 to 4.00 PM there was power outage in my area and repeated voltage fluctuations. This caused severe inconvenience and resulted in damage to several of my home appliances.

I wish to add that those appliances which are mentioned under were in use at the time of power outage, which were now non functional and tentative cost is also mentioned under.

Following appliances were damaged:
1. Washing Machine
2. Air Condition
3. iphone Charger and
4. RO Plant

The Estimated total loss of above appliances is:
1. ₹ 8000/-
2. ₹12000/-
3. ₹1900/-
4. ₹600/-

I kindly request you to investigate the matter at the earliest, and advise me on the procedure to file a claim for compensation.

A technician visited my home for AC repair. He told that i am still having higher voltage in AC plug than required. Please look into the matter urgently.
